8x6x4 for about 80% for me. 8x6x6 for new structured crowns like 59Fifty. Always ship a poly bag too. So much better presentation.

8x6x4 is my go to box size Just a note don't order that size from Supply Hut their boxes run smaller than advertised size

My favorite size is whatever I can get for free.😂 That tactic works for the time being since I’m a small seller of a variety of items. And I’m lucky enough to have found a steady & free supply of clean, unprinted, well-sized boxes. My compliments on the video…very thorough and thoughtful. I especially like that you are concerned about the presentation of the hat when the buyer opens the box. Very professional.👌 Just one question…what exactly is the definition of a dad hat? Just the fact that the crown is unstructured?

Nice! I use the exact same box sizes you do for structured and unstructured hats. I'm not exclusively a hat seller but I sell a lot and over the years I've settled on the 8x6x4 and the 8x8x4 as the perfect sizes as well.👍🏻

Does the 8×6×4 box keep the weight of the hat and box under or at 8oz or do try and under 12oz?

I don't even weigh each hat. I set one hat at 8 oz and never had a problem with the new ground advantage. There are always exceptions and some obviously heavier hats I will weigh.

So you don't bag the hats inside the box, something I should change up in my business. Thought it might be a waist of money and weight. If it works for you in your business it should work for me in my small enterprise.

Rarely. If I am concerned with weather or a very expensive hat I may put the box in a poly bag then tape it good.
