I know this is an old video but in case anyone stumbles on it now. If you throw that box in a poly mailer and ship as cubic shipping or box in a bag on pirateship..it'll be even cheaper.

Hahaha! I get excited about boxes too! Gotta tell ya, I totally suck at candle making but It's been fun watching your channel and trying to learn. This video is perfect, and exactly what I was hoping to find! I’m just getting started I’m my candle making business and the thought of marketing and selling online was intimidating me, just because of the shipping aspect. So thank you for putting my mind at ease and providing great options. A few questions I have... could you please comment on insuring your packages? Do you insure it for the retail value? Does this significantly increase cost? Is there ever a time when you don’t purchase the insurance? One more question.. what do you do in the case of a buyer never receiving their candles, or if they’ve been stolen? Thank you!

I have a huge supply of new unused candles from everybody. Actually they’re just kind of sitting around. You have no idea how helpful this was! I really never sold much online because of the hassle of shipping and you are absolutely right about the post office ripping you off! I have been searching for better information and watching youtube videos trying to figure out the best way to ship without having to charge a rediculous amount of money for my candles or having to waste my profits. YAAAAS i started a soap and lotion business back in March, spread to wax melts in June and October 15th launched my candles! I've been stressing so much about shipping bc when I started in March, shipping was under 4! Haha now im up to candles etc and shipping has been nuts! Haha

This video is a godsend. I have been struggling with shipping bottles of honey and the shipping cost is killing me. I just made a free account on pirate ship and it will cut my shipping in half or close to it. Thank you very much for this information even though it is an older video the information is still pertinent.
