Very important for beginners is to jump while shooting. Helped me get my shot a lot more consistant.

depending on what age you should jump at the free throw line if your 13-12 and you think you have enough strength dont jump when shooting free throws.

A tip is start shooting very close and slowly increase as you get confortable with the previous range. Don’t rush to 3 point shooting. Slowly buildup your shooting strength,accuracy, speed and form.

What helped me be more consistent on my shots is focused controlled breathing. I- ( inhale through nose as pulling up for shot, then exhale through mouth once ball leaves hands) Controlled focused breathing+ Dialed form+ Shooting w Intentions that u made the shot before it even goes in.

Something I always did was not using my wrist to get the forwards momentum on the ball. When you throw the ball you really need to use that flick of the wrist to get the ball forwards. Don’t use your arm because it will make you inaccurate and inconsistent.

Push ups brother, push the ground away from you as fast as you can, then drop back down as slow as you can. Be consistent with em n you’ll be shooting from half court with ease in no time
