I didn't get a good understanding of the motion to make with the stick since it never showed the completed movement. Are you supposed to dip it over your back with two hands and hope it doesn't crash into your heels? Or do you stop after it is over the head, and if so how does it continue the sweeping, circular motion? Nice but unclear from an outsider's perspective.

Yeah not a great tutorial. What’s the best motion with the selfie stick? What other settings in the app? And how about showing the app when setting the pivot points?

Overall though a good direction - more tutorials with a little more depth. The ones in your app are nicely detailed for example

Hi there! Thank you for the questions! The selfie-stick will stop right beside your ankle, so we suggest to bend your body backward a little bit while the stick going backward and down to your ankle. Please bear in mind that you need some space to do this shot, so always check your surroundings to make sure there are no people/animals/objects behind/before where you are standing. Great video! You guys should look into using LumaFusion app for video edits! You can import LUTs, keyframe, inject 360 metadata, and countless other edits & composites!

Key to this effect are the accelerating transitions, which this does not mention. And turning off stabilization.

Hello, can you suggest one good feature to the develloper team? 1) Please make the mobile app sync with the desktop app. So that when I transfer mobile edited videos to computer, the edited data will stay along with it. 2) Now if I edit the video in mobile app. And then remove the app, or install in other phone. I will also want to see the same edited date again in the fresh install, or new phone. Do you understand? I want to save the videos to external storage, without loosing the editing. Now itvis only possible if I export the file to normal video file, but then I wont be able to edit it further, undo/redo the editing bits.

I was thinking how the insta360 x would work as a mounted third person camera. I film all my fishing and have been looking for an way to get better and cooler angles then just the standard chestmounted GoPro.

Fun just wish insta360 would create in the app the ability to slice out video not just the trim start and finish and add the ability to Stitch clips together why should we have to go to other apps. Keep us in your app. Fingers crossed. Love the 360 onex

I feel you pain man, been working on a insta360 video for the past couple of weeks and the app is so basic that it makes the whole editing workflow so slow! Hope they can improve it soon!

Definitely the biggest thing missing right now. Should be fairly simple but even the pc app doesn’t do this, so maybe not their software team’s area?

Not so much a shot I'd like to show, but asking for advice for a shot I want to take. I will be visiting White Sands New Mexico the first week of August, and wondering what I can do to deal with all the harsh glare and the incredible dynamic range there? Was hoping there might be an ND filter available for the One X, but haven't seen one. So hoping there might be some settings you can suggest?

Hi Ewan! Thank you for your question! For best results, we suggest you try manual settings to decrease the IOS and increase the shutter speed so it can be optimized for your shooting. Currently, there is no nd filter available for Insta360 ONE X as an official accessory as the stitching algorithms of the camera will need normal color conditions to achieve the best stitching. I have 360 One X but I can’t even share my photos and videos with friends because Instagram does not support 360. Oh ... i like the dark background but just feels a little over produced .... tricky one to get right though... great accent but just too much exaggerated body moment especially with the Inserted clips , can see how this is popular though.... like moving between people on their phones ... .. less fear of missing out vibe .... I get it but not for me ... now where be me pipe and slippers? I need to watch some old cassey vids ... great studio background sharp editing with that edgy amateur look but some quite space in there for recovery ;)
