you have to try to come more from the side and and then you can hit the ball nice with the bone if you leg is full strechted. Lock at the angle i go for the ball.

your not rotation you leg you just go to the ball more from the side

That comes down to you and practice, for me since Im size 13 I literally hold my foot sideways and then down a bit to reveal that big toe bone

A bit late but I struggled the same for like 5 years I can't do a power shot. Two things helped me, the point is to flex your leg muscles, especially the one closest to your foot. Some people will tell you to do this by locking your ankle, but it can be difficult at first (it always give me toe cramps for some reason) so just try to flex your leg muscles as much as you can while kicking. Think of it as if you are punching with your arm, you need to flex your biceps and otger arms muscles to make a powerful punch. The second thing that helped is to use your whole body when shooting. Try to watch your favorite player's movement when they are taking a shot and try copying as much as possible. Most of the time, if you are kicking with your right leg, then your left arm and shoulders will move across your body and your right arm will sway backwards to give you balance and therefore producing more power. It actually helps a lot for me

Not too bad tbf, penalties go at 110mph usually, 60mph is plenty for amateur and youth football (+he was probably trying to show technique more than power)
