@@princeofthomasville5638 actually I have and was staying there for sometime (before heading over to LA and SF where I much prefer) - but that doesn't deter me from thinking that she speaks incredibly fast! I guess for English speakers learning German, that is pretty overwhelming speed unless you're already comfortable speaking German with natives.

Real life scenerio... German people don't speak like Anja. They speak more like Nadine... It's very hard to live as an expat in Germany.

@@Goeker I know right!! I was forced to stay here in Bonn since Corona started earlier this year and while I can understand my German teacher in class (who speaks slowly to us) I still struggle when I'm trying to communicate to locals.. the struggle is real but we've got this!

I'm doing the A1 course now and its superb. I was trying to learn alone but Anja and her course provide a structure that is fun and challenging. I have looked at many methods but I have to say Anja makes it so much simpler. Well, as simple as German can be!

I think my favorite thing to learn in German is the nouns. Like, the naming system is great. You can make an easy guess at what most things are called, or figure out what people are talking about just by knowing a few very approachable nouns.

I have seen almost all the German Lehrer und Lehrerin in you tuber. You are the one I like most for your technique , Beispiel und your cheering mood. Some of your Lesson VDO are the best , one of this is the, "Series on Deutsche Fälle." Madame can't you make series on German dictation .....there is basically not many dictation piece of lesson. PLEASE THINK. YOUR VOICE AND NARRATION COULD BE AN ASSET TO SUCH VDO SERIES PLEASE. DANKE SCHON.....VIELEN DANK.

Dear Anja, Just to teach me(never being boring... ...=>abholen doesn't mean "pick up? Why aussuchen; that is to look out or pick on [phrasal verb] to choose (someone) to do a usually difficult or unpleasant job is used here instead, is it the the same in Deutsch? Beg your pardon..but in that situation I'd translate that to"abholen.." But as I say,,,you're german..I'm a Brazilian English teacher.....Would appreciate to have that replied from you...I admire you a lot! I've studied English deeply....all the languages that involve it, just german is the one missing...I'm broken now ..short on cash and your lessons are great! I'm at A2 level....middle of it... I'd write abholen ..but I think that the seller here means to "sellect..choose the best one"..so...pick out is great! Thanks for all! My question is( German student's question....."abholen" is used in that case..meaning only "picking it up and not "choosing, or you german people prefer to use aussuchen instead, meaning choosing the best one to please the customer??
