In this video I am sharing real outfit inspiration for real apple shaped bodies. We are talking How to shop your own closet and build an outfit | plus size outfit inspiration for apple shapes.
Many of us love the Pinterest outfit ideas, but no matter how much we try we just cant get our outfits to look like that. Well in this new little series I will show you what real outfits actually look like and take you through the process of shopping your own closet. I am talking you though the outfit and give you tips and tricks along the way how best to dress our apple shaped bodies.

Brown dress: I don't like the boots with the dress either, but the heels do look a million times better. I like the dress with the blazer belted on you. Great outfit on you. You might make me a believer in belting a blazer. It looks fantastic on you!! 🥰 Black dress is gorgeous too. I love the longer boots with it. I wasn't crazy about the shorter boots. You could wear a heel with a peep-toe with the black outfit as well. ❤ I am an apple body as well now. I had a hysterectomy an it changed my life forever. I gained 80 lbs so fast it was crazy. Now I am learning how to dress my new body. I held out buying clothes, because I was hoping to lose the weight, but I guess that isn't going to happen. I dressed as a frump for over 15 years, because I had no clue what looked good on me or what to wear and I'm extremely picky. Your videos have helped me a lot. I used to model when I was younger. I'm 5'7" and I have always weighed about 118 to 124, but now I am 200 lbs, and it doesn't seem I'm going to lose this weight any time soon. 😂 So....instead of scaring people to death by being a frumpy, I'm learning to dress for the body I have. Hey sweet Marleentje, the first outfit: love the dress, it is a fab color on you!!! And again, you put it together perfectly!! LOVE IT!! Bright orange looks good on me, burned orange not so much. But you can wear orange with many other colors, even with bright pink HAHA!! Pitty you do not have boots in the same color as the belt cause that would be PERFECTION! IN the winter I wear thicker tights (maillots in my language) and I look for different colors, that suit my outfits. Sometimes I wear an open shirtdress (not buttoned) as 'vest/blazer' and that works well! Second outfit: looks good but you know, I'm not a black-fan ROFL, so, this is not my favo outfit, sorry, hun. I would wear a red blazer instead of the greyisch. Red and black is beautiful! Do you have broches sweetie? That would look amazing on that black blazer! Lots of love from Pinkie

Hello, I've been watching you for over a year now and enjoy your videos. It's a personal preference but I don't care for the belt on the outside of the Blazer. When I try it I think it makes me look bigger. I do however wear a belt and keep the cardigan or Blazer open.i believe it draws the eye to that point of the body giving the impression of a smaller waist. I'm a size 18 and I belive I'm a pare shape.❤

I love your ideas it makes me think more about the pieces I purchase and ware. I carry weight in Mt lower belly and thighs so I'm always looking for ideas to minimize the bulk 😊

I am a tall, big bosomed pear/hourglass but I do love your channel. Even though I wear my clothes a bit differently I still get plenty of inspiration from watching you. Have you considered maybe trying a chocolate brown blazer or tie-belt blazer-gilet with the orange dress? Xx

The thing that bothers me about the orange dress, is the sleeves are so long compared to the jacket sleeves. I think the orange/brown boots look the best. I just realized that I hate rolled up sleeves. The brown is ok with the black, but I liked the sock boots better than the short boots. I would like to see you wearing the dresses with maybe some medium to large necklaces and or maybe a lacy shawl that can be tied at the waist when not in use. Or a very long dangling necklace. I loved how you showed the different shoe options with the black dress.

Do you have a cream blazer? It could work with either dress. Even white might work.

Should I focus on certain spacing and size of pocket so my rear doesn't look wider? Not many jeans take that into consideration unfortunately... thanks!

Thank you. And yes, pocket spacing is very important. If you want a rounder looking bum choose pockets up a little higher and closer together. If you want to add width choose pockets wider apart and if you want to lower your bum a bit choose pockets lower down. And yes sadly many companies just slap those pockets in and that’s it but good on you for thinking about it x

Mmm I’ll be honest with you. I used to pick a colour and then just black with it. Now that I choose black for the right reasons, and not just because I want to hide, I feel black “ruins” most colours. It dampens it. I prefer colour with colour and black with black.

It's a bit warm to try this outfit but I love it. I'm not sure how it will look on me. I have a big belly but I think I might be hourglass as I do seem to have a waist and I wonder if it will make the jacket more peplum. Guess I might have to pump up the aircon and give it a go lol ❤

Why don’t you like pantyhose or tights, they convert nearly any dress into something you can wear in the cooler months. I think Snag tights are available to you there and they come in a huge size range.

Snags are the only ones I wear but I just don’t like wearing them. Same with socks. Just don’t like wearing them x

Why don't you wear a jumper over the Orange dress and make it look like a skirt ,using a belt to change the length of the jumper or not ,I think some of those blazers make you look a bit boxsey and top heavy ,love the Orange boots thou
