From personal experience, if your history isn't looking good, you can also fix the total sum as fixed deposit and submit the fixed deposit certificates as proof of funds.

One year registration is not bad. If the business has been in operation before the registration, you can also mention that in the letter of explanation,

I got refused base on proof of fund but this what i did.... I own a company account but this company account didnt carry my personal name . But i own the account And i also presented two of my saving accounts with my personal name were on them..My company account was a running account bu that two saving accounts were not but i have money there. Good day sir. Wonderful video, I really gained some information. I'm in a peculiar situation, where my sister is my sponsor, she has been able to build the proof of funds but she also received extra money in her account from my brother to increase my chances, which could be considered as a lump sum. Please i want to find out how I can go about it. Does she need to provide connection to my brother, or state it in her sponsorship letter, or does my brother also need to provide his bank statements. It's best to show minimum of 4k CAD for your spouse and 3k CAd for each child. You will also show that you have means to pay your tuition balance. If paid, show your tuition receipt

I have a business account that I have been running well since last year but not registered yet with CAC. So I just got a job this month with good salary scale. So with the job I got my business activities will be reduced on my account. Can I show a year bank statement by October when I will be applying? Usually, you need only 4 to 6 months. If you had funds in your account from your business, you can explain that in your letter of explanation.

For 2 years program, the minimum POF is one year tuition plus 10k CAD cost of living. But the more money you show, the better

@@PeterIsesele well, even people with large opening balances have been denied twice despite having good account statements for one year. The key factor is how well the person can justify the funds in their account. Even if they have a good opening balance and a substantial amount in their account for closing, if they can't explain the funds, it's likely considered insufficient. This applies to everyone. Also, have you ever come across a case where someone was denied due to a low opening balance? Probably note from GCMS NOTE

Minimum of one year tuition plus living expenses. But if you can show two years, it's better.

Well done mr Peter. Thanks for all you do. I’m planning to use Mpower financing, an international loan organization. Is it advisable to use only the loan approval letter gotten from Mpower as a proof of fund or should I add my personal proof of fund of let’s say 10,000 Cad dollars in addition to the Mpower’s, just to show that I also have personal savings to support my education?

If you are still planning to apply to Can College just know that you cannot get PGWP after studies and it doesn't make sense. Choose other collect that can offer you PGWP after studies.

Thanks for this info! I had paid part payment of my school fee and my mum is my sole sponsor, so I had 1m in my account why mum had 15m in her account and yet I was denied and told I had insufficient funds for my school fee, my transportation and welfare in Canada without working! Mostly they will tally the amount of the school fees and your living expenses for the duration of your stay in Canada….if the amount is close or bigger than your sponsor’s amount they will refuse you according to them the sponsor won’t be able to cater for your needs
