Many ways to do the trucker´s hitch, but this one is the fastest way to make it and to release it. Also the toughest. A+++

Tying off the clove hitch at the end around the other rope? Interesting.. I see people just go to the right of the other rope. I assume it keeps tension on it a little more?

Absolutely. Don't like the pinch and half hitch method as the tension is lost, the clove hitch is easy untied after tension is loosened.

@@kevinfoo8031 makes sense. I’ll have to try that out next time I use it, but I have another question: I notice when tying the clove hitch, they start by going under and around so the short tail ends up on the bottom. Assume it is better to tie it that way? Because if you tied it by going over first, then the knot would flip over making it look funky and not as secure because the tension would be pulling it a different direction? Just wanted reasoning on that because it has never been explained.

@@TJB270Your tail should end up on the bottom. Once you pull down to tension, wrap under the anchor point and come up on the right hand side of the line, cross over and wrap again but come up on the left side of the line and tuck it in the crossing part. The tail ends up on the bottom. Hope this helps.

@@TJB270 The anchor point is the bar where your rope wraps around. It's anchored at that point. See the video at 0.39, he wraps around that bar.
