I just discovered your channel through Race and I’m so glad because you make the type of videos I’ve always wanted for this game where you go in-depth on mechanical aspects of the game. I do think it would be a little easier to watch if you lowered the background music volume a little bit more especially when you’re talking but regardless thank you so much for providing this service to the community

Can the Preon be used? The difficulty of timing the charge ought to be balanced out by the slow speed of the projectile lingering a while in boss spawn locations if it works.

I remember once Alloy Worship fought with Void Reaver and just died, though red mark, spotting the boss, for some reason didn’t disappear. But I still got a red item.

I don't fully understand from your intro what's going on. Something something attack in the hitbox? And why does it remove the boss tag?

I think its the delay thing. First spawns the hitbox - then the boss itself with his tag. The hitbox,I think,have very small hp,thats why the skip exist.

I think it may be because those attacks explode and activate their damage when they touch an enemy, but because they didn't touch the "outside" of the AWU they couldn't activate their aoe bomb, or at least do it in time for it to skip.

@@offbeatsofa9743 I don't think so, all the hitboxes are solid cubes. That said though, you might be on to something, where the explosion triggers a frame after impact, which wouldn't work because the tech is frame perfect

I've tested both. Not sure what in the code causes the boss skip, but those 2 didn't work

Yup! All my vids still work with the latest PC update. Console might have different interactions though since a lot about the game works different on console
