hi, i have an Asus TUF F15 (FX 506LI, 2021) with the i5 10300H, GTX 1650 Ti, 8GB (the same as what it came with, @2933MHz) 512GB Micron SSD. I am experiencing display issues where the bottom part of my screen is black and has burn-ins of whatever i opened previously which lasts for ~30 seconds. It seems like the affected part of the screen runs at a low refresh rate. Also, the entire screen flickers and has black lines vertically. It does not happen when an external montior is connected. It remains black in the BIOS, and in Windows Safe Mode.

Hello I have an asus ROG G513QM, and the monitor flickers whenever on 144hz and the only solution is to put on 60hz whenever i turn my laptop on. doesn't seem to be hardware since rotating the lid doesn't change anything, bios screen is also fine. i tried installing the drivers from the site but it didn't help. what should i do?

Hi, I am experiencing sudden flicker or stutter on my top display. This happens suddenly and randomly, sometimes it doesn't shows up, but sometimes it does and happening more frequently. This problem exist only on 144hz refresh rate, the stutter is gone whenever I went to 60hz. The problem started arround 3 weeks ago, and I've been in constant contact with Windows Support and Asus Support. But the fix or troubleshooting they provided me doesn't work, or fixes the problem temporarily. The fixes I tried include updating driver (directly from Asus Support), Rollback driver, uninstalling driver to tapping BIOS settings. So, I would like to ask Asus the permanent solution to the problem I'm currently facing? (Note: I can't leave my laptop to Service Center due to work with this laptop) Model and BIOS: TUF F15 FX506HM.315 Thank You

Hi, based on your issue, verify that your display settings are properly configured for the desired refresh rate. Make sure your operating system and any related software are set to use a 144Hz refresh rate if that is the intended setting. Have you try to confirm Windows Update? Please make sure that graphics driver is up to date. Thank you.

@@asus_support I have always check update daily on Windows Update. I also set my refresh rate to 144hz. The problem is random. Yesterday and this morning, it didn't show up. But tonight, it shows another stuttering. At first I thought it was because I disable Gpu Accelerated Scheduling. I enable it once more and the problem was solved temporarily. But now, the stutter is back.

Hi asus i encounter a serious problem, I have asus Asus TUF Gaming F15 FX506LH 10300H and when its on bios and when its on 144Hz the screen is flickering but when its on 60Hz its all good, tried to update drivers reinstall and all this but nothing, also tried some other drivers that ur support team suggested but also doesnt work and as i see many people have the same issue with me with asus laptops

Hello, I recently purchased an ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 OLED (M6500QFB) about three months ago, and it was working properly until the last week. However, during the past week, I have been experiencing a lot of flickering issues with my laptop screen. Sometimes, restarting the laptop resolves the problem, but other times it persists. I have tried uninstalling some previously installed apps, but the issue remains unresolved. Could you please assist me in solving this problem with my laptop.

Hi, I have a Asus Tuf f17 f706li recently i am having a display issue in which a thin line of 2 -3 mm running horizontal has appeared in my screen. Its warrenty is expired . When i change my display settings to 60Hz the line disappears but it stays when then i shift it again to 144Hz.

i have ROG strix g713rm 32gb ram 1tb storage , in last 3 months display turned into black screen 2 times and not turning on so i have to go to customer service center. they unplugged the the screen and plug it again then it starts working again. they say even they do not know why this is happening . and i have to got to center whenever this happen in future again. that is frustrating. i bought it just a year ago . tell me what i should do?

I own an Asus E210M and even though I've done the lates BIOS update and "updated the to the Intel Graphics driver" I'm having like a small portion at the bottom of the screen ( A thick black horizontal line) flickering black when running "ram" demanding applications. Now knowingly with this small size form factor laptop no RAM upgrades can be done to aid the cause, the only working solution I found working is switching back to the factory "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" driver which does unfortunately disable the feature to adjust its brightness. Its done be entering Computer Management>Device Manager> Display Adapters> (clicking on update driver> Browse local drivers >Let me pick from a list of avialable drivers > then you choose > "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter") My question is do you have any other possible solution to this?

I have a vivobook pro 14 oled, I seldom faces problems with the screen being black but the laptop was working fine as I hear it running, unfortunately I could not fix it with the solution on the video. I have already sent it to repair for the same reason before but shortly after it happened again. May I know what’s the problem causing it and how can I fix it…

I have the flickering horizontal section near the top of my screen with my A15 ryzen. Battery has been very poor since i purchased it. I turned it on from being in my boot on a very cold day which seemed to sap the battery charge I had. I booted it up on power and got a black screen after booting windows and shutdow. When I turned it on again I had a black screen so I forced a shutdown with the power button, then 3rd time it come back to life but with this screen flickering issue. This is a fault that I've seen many people having, I believe you should issue a recall for this because it's clearly not a user fault. I've had no drops, when I'm not using it it's always shut down in it's protective case. 60hz is fine, 144hz is intermittent but got progressively worse

If the screen flickering occurs only under specific conditions, try to identify patterns such as when using specific applications or during specific tasks. If you have any external devices connected to your laptop, such as monitors or docking stations, disconnect them and check if the flickering persists. My x555l screen only shows luminosity with charger adaptor connected and charging battery.....as soon as i disconnect it the screen turns to black

Hi, according to your question, may I ask whether your battery is at 100% but once you disconnect the charger there's no display? Have you make sure that all the drivers are up to date? It is suggest that you reset your computer to default setting and confirm whether the issue still exist. You can try cross test with other monitor to confirm the issue too. I face frame jumps in 90hz mode (in gap of few minutes) while watching videos or in general.. Mine is asus vivobook s14 oled..2 month old.. Technician guy came and updated every thing but still no use

I'm a technician service partner, i have a problem asus m513u display error glitch line randomly, when i disable driver graphic its normal. But when i enable graphic driver the problem come again. So basically ASUS had latest BIOS update who damaged Motherboards on lots of models mine is (ASUS TUF Gaming A15) and after update Driver somehow put higher electric power to Motherboard which lead to higher Frequency display and cause motherboard become FAULTY! So if you have warranty, you can return it to your Service dealer immediately.

@@its_chifuyu i changed my laptop screen it costs about 5.3k (inr) they said that the screen was damaged... But there is even i dont allow to make any scratch on my laptop idk what happened to the screen..!

Hi Asus I am using tuf a15 gaming laptop purchased more than a year now I am getting display issue like freezing or black screen or no image, so I went to authorized service center f1 infosolutions in Tirupati, they people checked for 3 weeks and they told me main board is problem need to change and it costs 53000 approx with service charges, one of the worst experience I ve face d by purchasing these laptop brand so I taken back my laptop and I am using with same issue but problem not solved and also I am not affordable to change the main board for display issue instead I can get new laptop, so please all don't recommend Asus tuf gaming laptops or other variants to buy.

You suggest to update the BIOS, but from 2019 Asus doesn't give a shit to release new versions... My vivobook 15 is using v309. None of those solutions helped with my problem, i start to think that i was unlucky and i just bought a faulty machine!

@@asus_support model name: asus tuf f15 506HEB. Bios 311 version. I repaired it from service centre. But after one month, same problem arise. Currently i am running laptop with 60hz refresh rate. It causes problem 144hz problem. Screen got hang, multicolor line appear in screen. It also show in boot screen as well as bios mode.

Seems, everyone faces the display problem whatever the model is. I have faced flickering problems recently. My laptop model is an Expertbook B3 flip touch display. I was shocked at how many people faced the display's issues. It is a shame for Asus. My all driver software is updated. This is ridiculous that I bought the laptop 2 years ago. Before I used the Asus I used the Sony Vaio laptop for several years. This is our misfortune that Sony will discontinue the laptop production.

Just think about it from the customer's end, lots of customers have faced this problem on several models from the purchase date to 2 or 3 years. This is not an absurd case. I used 3 laptops, my very fast laptop was a Sony Vaio, 2nd one was also a Sony Vaio laptop. There was no problem at all with my Sony Vaio laptop except for upgrading and changing the battery after 4/5 years. I have read everyone's comments visited accounts and tried to find them on other social media. Maximum is a genuine commenter. Now I am using the Asus B3 Flip, here I found there are many of them use different models. The actual problem is display. I bought a laptop with my hardest income. I don’t want to face this type of problem very soon. And the problem is not only mine, many of them face the problem. You will lose the market very soon if you don’t value your customers. Mark my words.

Don't trust ASUS ROG. My new ROG zephyrus g15's screen get damaged exactly after one year even when I kept it with utmost care. One day it's screen hangs and lost its display. I even consult to ROG service centre and they asked to repair which costs 19000. Worst laptops ROG. Don't trust such advertisments.the laptop itself cost 1,30,000 rupees.

Same i just bought rog strix g15 on 10th april 23 and from may 24 I am having a lot of issues and I have sent it to service center for 3 time so in 10 days 3 times and they are not ready to replace or refund it because I am having a lot of trouble with this i have to update and reinstall all the development tools and the customer support is also not responding well so basically I have to keep this faulty laptop with me which have issues very often with me and they can't do anything about it because it's against the policy the best option is to post this issues on Twitter so atleast company knows how much worst the company is getting. I suggest to stay away from Asus because it's already made my life hard everyday I have to call Asus for complain or status and at the end I get "you have to wait sir" I just want you to take back the laptop and give my money back and my peace because of this laptop I am not able to do anything because most of the time the laptop is with service center not me. Plz. Do something about it or I'll post the issue to social media so that company can know the issue of the customer.
