DISCLAIMER: *DON'T* push your Adam's apple with your hand! I realize this might've got lost in translation. When I said put your hand on your throat, I meant gently. This is just so you can feel if you're doing it right. You can also look in a mirror to see if your Adam's apple is going down. This is just as a diagnostic tool, don't push it with your hands please! Just use your throat muscles, and if anything hurts, if your body tells you to stop, then stop! Thank you EDIT: If you're struggling with lowering your larynx, do a yawn. Notice how your larynx goes down if you feel it with you hand, or look in the mirror. If you yawn and make a noise, you'll hear that your voice sounds more like Patrick from Spongebob. Try to hold that position after the yawn, and soon you'll be able to understand which muscles are involved

women do indeed have an adam’s apple. it’s just less visible, and the reason is because men tend to have skinnier necks. We also have smaller adam’s apples, so thats another reason. You just need to feel around a bit!

I’ve found my people🥺 LOL, when I’m alone and more comfortable, I somehow have a mid range to kinda lower voice with a bit of natural vocal fry, but for some reason, in public (not by choice) my voice just reverts to a squeak and idk why. It used to be all the time tho💀✌️

Im gonna give u first hand insight in whole cigarettes “tool” for making ur voice deeper. Bcs some people really do think it can help u. Im smoking for 6 yrs now, all my friends smoke also. Its common thing in my country. Some of my friends are heavy smokers, some are not. I usually smoke half a pack a day. Sometimes a pack. And its pure bullshit. My voice was still the same. Same applies to my heavy smoking friends. Non of us got our voice deep. It wasnt until I got interested in growl vocals from deathcore bands, thats when I found out how to actually lower ur vocals without damage and negative effects. This guy speaks truth about making ur voice lower. But for anyone who wants to sound like Corpse I would suggest watching videos about heavy metal vocals and how to do them. Its best place to learn how to lower or make ur voice higher with proper techique. Cheers !
