Kevin, thanks for the video! question: to my Russian ear, you deafen the D sound in the phrase good school. We are taught that in a Russian accent it is always necessary to deafen the ringing sounds at the end of a word, but this is not always done in an American accent. which rule will be correct? how does deafening depend on the deaf consonant sound in the next word?

Thank you for the helpful information in American English. I'm curious if there are any specific rules for the article pronunciation of 'a' before, especially when it comes to whether it's pronounced as a diphthong 'ei' or a schwa sound or something else? I don't know! Could you provide some guidance or examples for this or do you have a lesson about it? Thank you!

Hi dear Kevin, could I ask a question from you ? what does mean vocal in these sentences? 1- when someone is vocal, he or she expresses a strong opinion publicly. 2- Shawn gets vocal when someone disagrees with his opinions. thank you very much for your time.

I wonder if all of these changes with "TO" pronunciation are taught to children in American schools, and if they are important for foreigners to know. I ve been studying English for years and the professors never mention them. Thanks proffesor Kevinn for you valuable information.

If I may, Kevin's videos are natural pronunciations in the U.S. To me, natural pronunciations mean ordinary Americans, excluding regional dialects.

Children say this already before school. You don't have to study this at school.

@@alexezhov360Did you read the video title or hear Kevin's intro? If some children say this before they started school, that's great. I don't think this video was created to replace what children should have been taught in or before school. I speak with a British-Caribbean accent and this channel and others help me to understand why Americans speak the way they do instead of always saying Americans are helll bent on destroying the English language.

Boy, that “go to a restaurant” bit was too much for me lol I couldn’t do it, even though the English “d” sounds exactly like the spanish soft “r”, I should be able to pull it off…crazy.

Ребята, артикль А произносить лучше через звук Schwa. Как первый гласный звук в слове "молоко". Вопрос: почему пишите звук шва через русскую А Э? Совсем не тот звук, мы же не говорим "мэлако"

@@irinayesyeva960 тогда лучше произносить рес-чуант. С двумя ударениями. С без t в первом слоге (glottal t) и обязательно с t в конце (так красивее).
