Today I’m sowing Strawflowers (also known as Helichrysum or their new name, Xerochrysum bracteatum). I’ve chosen 10 great colours that will work well both in the garden and as dried flowers. I am so excited to see what I can grow this season.

Just received my strawflower seeds in the mail today:) I'm looking forward to having a go at drying flowers this year so that they make me smile through the dark and cold months!

Thank you Annette. Aren't they just Happy Flowers. A week or so ago l planted Statice with the idea of drying then. Can you tell me where you get your seed from. They only have a general mixed packet of either Statice or Straw Flowers at all the Nurseries where l live. Thank you as ever, you are always so cheerful and enthusiastic.
