Great video ,I use fleece so spot clean with a hand vac etc ,however when it's hay I find the hand vac gets clogged so I bought the bissell supreme sweep turbo this lifts hay also and you empty it just like a hand vac .you can remove the long floor handle and use it similar to a handvac ,.

I have been using bedding not fleece since January and I have seen lots of people use fleece in stead so I have been thinking about doing a massive clean out.

Great video autumn ! I love your channel so much ! how was ur trip? at about 7:00 fold up he little strands of fleece and put them on top so that i don't vacuum those up. i use a hand held vacuum oh wait never mind the fleece forest thing i just saw u clean waffles cage

I have four piggies and I spot clean every morning and at night before I feed them their vegetables. They make alot of mess. And I dont like the barn smell. I have fleece in their cages as well. I change their bedding once a week. And it's true they only poop and pee in one area. And I have paper pee pads which I change twice when I clean up! I need a vacuum like yours. Thanks for the video.

Aren't you on vacation? Or is this a prequel? If so, bless your little heart 💕 for giving us something to watch so we don't go through withdrawal. Lol Ps How did the potatoes adjust to the noise of the shop vac? They don't seem to be afraid. Hope you had a nice break.

I was on vacation before I posted the vacation video! Lol 😂 honestly they just got used to it over time! I didn’t use it in their cages right away only in the room for the carpet and gradually they got used to it. I’ve found once a noice becomes familiar or routine for them they’re not as spooked by it. & thank you!

Hello my name is lakyla and I'm 12 yrs old and I'm doing my research about guinea pigs because I'm waiting to get them In 9th grade so I can be educated and have a job to give them a good life but that's Not the point this is so the question is is a 4x2 good for 2 piggies or what time to u recommend for them plz give me some information I might need 😊 Im trying to learn as much as I can ! I know this is kinda late ,but a 2×4 ft.cage is definitely a good size for 2 guinea pigs! I heard that if you get males you may want to go up to a 3×4 just because they can be a bit territorial! Lol! I personally use Midwest cages which are each 2×4 and definitely recommend them!

Is the vacuum good for getting hay out of fleece and pee pads?? my guinea pigs get hay everywhere and it gets stuck on all their fleece and mats. It's hard brushing out all the hay to put in the wash

I love your content. Getting my cage ready to buy guinea pigs. I also followed your advice and ordered the same vavuum. It seems like all the pieces are in the right place, the blowing works but vacuuming is not... ;( I insert the hose in the right hole for both of blowing and vacuuming and it always blows... Why? Please

my piggies are rescues and are terrified of the vacuum, so i dont vacuum in their cage and only vacuum my carpet once a week. i have noticed lots of peoples piggies are not worried about vacuums at all. do you have any tips or experience of getting my piggies used to the loud vacuum noises? i feel so bad for my babies but i gotta vacuum all the poops they drop on the floor.

Mine just got more used to it! Try using the vacuum outside the room, then inside the room, and even if they’re spooked at first just give them time. Sage used to be very scared of the vacuum so I would sweep her cage and vacuum the ones nearby. Eventually she got used to the noise. Try to use the vacuum for a few minutes every day in the room or nearby around spot cleaning time and they can learn it’s part of the routine and not scary before you use it in the cages!

i would still recommend giving them 1/8 cup of pellets a day(per pig) if you see that they haven't eaten them at all then you don't have to refill it. i know this from experience because my pigs used to not like pellets and now they love them

He's not a "poor guy." He is perfectly content and I am working on adopting a new friend for him. He cannot live with the others because he is an intact male and all the others are females or neutered males. He would get them pregnant. And he is almost 5, way too old to be neutered.
