Thanks man! Very helpful, my dad's been in the trailer repair business for over 20 years now but never did anything like this with it. I'm getting ready to do all these steps and move on forward.

Search online for local heavy duty truck repair shops in your area, call and ask if they are hiring for a helper. Truck dealerships such as Freightliner and Peterbilt have amazing training programs that will give you the knowledge and experience to become a really good tech. Also look into ASE Certifications and obtaining a Master Tech certification. Shops pay these techs top dollar.

Good Question, My shop currently uses Fullbay for billing and Quickbooks online for Finances. I highly recommend Fullbay for billing because customers have their own portal which allows them to view PM tracking, approve estimates, see what they owe and much more.
