What i did to get better was started always taking the first pitch...and watch the ball leave the pitchers hand..and ive improved alot. But don't worry so much about striking out, just focus on taking some pitches and get used to following the ball the whole way. And itll click.

So the one question I've always had but never really found a explanation is the Card Collection/exchange. I understand that you keep the card if you put it into Collection but its no longer sellable. But what I dont understand is are there sets that I have to choose which I add them to or are there set sets that are made specific cards. I just dont wanna add a card to a set prematurely and regret it later. I know there are "team sets" that are made for the "base" player of that team. I just finished all of Season 1 player awards and got the 6 cards to get Bobby Witt Jr. Now should I add those 6 to get Bobby Witt Jr or add them to the season 1 collection work my way up Season 1 Collection or can I do both?

2 months behind oh well, thanks for the guide it really helped me out alot! Havent played since mlb the show 20 and i noticed nothing really changed other then the pitching mechanics. Im definitely staying away from h2h matches, thats what kept me away from the game lol

Make sure he's not on any DD team, you can't exchange him if he is.

its because he’s on your team, you can’t lock in the card if it’s on your lineup

I'll tell ya right now, I've been playing NBA2K for YEARS and this is my first time playing Diamond Dynasty. It's significantly better as a card based ultimate team style mode in comparison. I feel like I'm actually rewarded for playing the game rather than feeling left behind because other guys are dropping hundreds or thousands of dollars on card packs. I haven't spent a dime yet and I have multiple guys that are an 85 overall or higher in the span of a weekend. I can't wait to play more!

Make sure the cornerstone cards aren't in any of your lineups. If you played events, you might need to cancel your run there to then make the card available or just your main lineup.

You cant collect & exchange your captain anymore so make sure u pick the one you want to use!

Incorrect boss! It is working as intended, you just cant keep all 4. You can exchange them as many times as you want though!

@@CRichey766 I realized I started a mini-season with Senga in the lineup. If you did that too go check out that lineup and remove your captain from there, then you can do the exchange.
