Amazing video Jordan! i went through the same exact thing and I realize that you have to find yourself by being alone instead of depending on that person to make you happy. If you have to beg a person to love you it’s never meant to be. the right person will reciprocate the same emotions for you and give you the best of them. no matter how much you think you want that person you have to put yourself as first priority especially when your emotions are involved.

There is a girl at my school that has hit on me at school a while back, but I kind of rejected her indirectly by acting too disinterested, something which pains me deeply thinking back, definitely a lot of regret there. I think she has broken up with her boyfriend not too long ago and I have decided that I will talk to her more and eventually tell her about my feelings, even thought that is SO hard! Jordan, this may be my favorite video by you yet. This really hit home. In my case, it was the opposite. I feel like I've had to simp for every guy's affection. After a particularly bad situation, I realized if I loved myself more, I wouldn't put myself through that. We really do accept the love we think we deserve. Men and women. I feel like I was subconsciously reenacting what I saw in my childhood with my mom. She always had these guys that did next to nothing for her and just caused drama and negative environments and were just very low-quality men. I don't want to settle or beg for anyone's love anymore. Like Madea said, I'd rather be in my house alone and have peace, than to have someone in my house just to say I have someone.

Me and this girl broke up sometime ago, we go to the same college (same class) so as you can imagine seeing each other on a regular we start talking again and stuff and we "tried to be friends" which I obviously didn't want cause I still have feelings for her. Just recently I stopped speaking to her and I know I'm gonna see her alot but I know it's finally time to walk away and work on my mental health.

I feel so ashamed. I was a simp from 13-17 until I got in trouble bc I said some creepy shit. If I hadn't simped and have just focused on myself, I would have been top of the class. The years of wasted time on people that never liked me to begin with really hurts and leaves a lot of regrets. Just like you said, I've been trying to get therapy. I've been journaling throughout high school and have currently been meditating but still don't know what my issues are. I think it's bc I feel lonely tho
