Nice and useful vedio, tomato and onion can be grinded n freezed. For 1 week you can consume from fridge. But if whole tomato n onion slices are required then they can be stored as you told. In my place we use mangalore cucumber, raw banana, suran, ridge gourd, drumsticks cos they are available in all seasons. I clean n cut suran n store in a box, even drumsticks I clean cut n store in box. Ridge gourd n raw banana need to be kept as they are. These vegetables take more space in fridge. Suran can be stored out too.

To preserve tomatoes for a longer period, place them upsidedown ( black spot side should be facing down) in an airtight container and store them in fridge.

टमाटर को फ्रिज मे रखने की जरूरत नहीं हे, बाहर वो फ्रिज से भी जादा दिनों तक अच्छे रेहते है, और फ्रिज की जगह भी बच जाती है। मैं फ्रिज के उपर ही टमाटर का बास्केट रखतीं हूँ।

If you want to store leafy vegetables for longer time. I hv best idea. Clean and wash the leafy vegetable properly. Then put the leafy vegetable into a cotton bag ,tie it tightly and put it in a washing machines spinner and spin it properly and refrigerate it. You can keep this leafy vegetable for 3 to 4 days without worrying.
