If you ever wanted to stream videos in your car onto your radio here's how to do it.
Using our HDMI AV kit and our TaZer, we are able to connect an Amazon Fire stick to our Uconnect system, allowing for a seamless streaming experience right from our drivers side seat.
This kit includes: an HDMI to RCA adapter, Audio Male, Video Male, Micro usb cable, USB power adapter with two inputs, and a lighter power tap.
In this video we will provide you with a step by step comprehensive walkthrough of the entire installation process. From what comes in the box, the wiring, and to what you need to enable in your TaZer menu.
Being that the input goes through the CargoCam input, the resolution is limited to 480p.
Disclaimer: being that the input goes through the CargoCam, if you have a factory front camera or a Z-Automotive Front trail camera, this will not work as it is the same input being used

Currently rocking a Wireless CarPlay Dongle that allows me to stream video to my screen but it’s crap. (Hey, get on that wireless CarPlay train too! Then I know it would work)

@@zautomotive Yep, my car meets all the conditions for install. Also, no worries, It will be for trips so the wife won't have to hold her tablet in her lap to watch movies. I've been driving for many years and my eyes always stay on the road, even when she says "Honey, look at that", lol.

2018 charger scat here. What does the cd function have to do if video is playing on cargo camera? For some reason the cd option will not display on uconnect after turning on option on tazer. Even if plugs was put in wrong pins I’m sure that option would still appear on unconnect. I’m getting a blue screen on cargo cam which says camera unavailable. Did multiple reboots and sleep cycles. I’ve emailed already because I know that’s what the response will be.

Hey when I added my front camera to my Jeep Gladiator I used pins 21 &22. Is 24 & 25 also available for a video input or is this where my reverse camera is attached? Thanks?

If you have the front camera, you wouldn't be able to also have the HDMI kit, unless you instal a RCA switcher

Bought the av kit for a 2017 Daytona. Connected video wired to 24 and 25 and audio to pins 8 9 and 10. Hooked up a fire sick to av to hdmi converter and now I’m getting error messages on cluster and shifter flickering

I have a challenger with a UAQ radio, tazer can only enable one aux video port. Is there any issues with the resolution? Do you have more info about making this process with a UAQ radio

Pulled out the "brain" (big silver box) and found the big clip, but it looks different than this video. Not sure where the pins should go.

Is there anyways to change the cargo camera icon to front camera icon ? Like for example, i want to add front camera to the wrangler and its weird to have cargo camera icon for front camera ! It's not compatible if it already uses those inputs. The HDMI Av kit is only compatible for 2015-2017 300s, you can check our site and the product page for all compatible vehicles and years
