What is your favorite style to flaunt having broader shoulders?

I ADORE off shoulder tops and dresses! I know it seems kinda counter-intuitive, but I'm someone who is on the thinner side of an inverted triangle, so it really flatters me! My other favourite is cargopants or huge joggers and a tank top. I love the look of turtlenecks because I have the neck for it, but my shoulders naturally slant down due to neck muscles, so sadly I havent found a way for it to work on me yet

I tend to wear lots of v tops and boot cut or flare pants. The dresses are shift and flared skirt types.

styling tips - thicker straps - lower and more narrow neckline - emphasize your waist - wearing an A-line or skater skirt - think about the tule of top and bottom your wearing (proportions)

im really insecure about my shoulders, yet i think that thinner straps and off the shoulder tops look good on me, i do agree with the other points tho

Thanks for the tips! I've always been so insecure about my broad shoulders and arms growing up. But I'm getting better at dressing to complement my body shape and being comfortable in my own skin.

Wearing baggy/cargo jeans (or “paper bag” style if long waisted) w/ a fitted top works. And I agree that racer back tops might not be best...However, halter tops (w/ low V-neckline) can look amazing on inverted triangles when there’s a waist detailing (like a bow) or when worn w/ A-line skirt.

I like wearing A line dresses or asymmetrical tops. I don't mind emphasizing my shoulders but I would like to look more feminine. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yes; I tend to balance out my silhouette; and I always preferred wide straps versus spaghetti ones. Great video.

I think I have an hourglass body with slightly more broader shoulders, I find I can pull off most tops as long as their is waist emphasis, stiff blazers never work though!! It would be amazing if you could do a video on coats for the different body types

The thin straps actually look good Broad shoulders are beautiful and the thin strap accentuated it I personally think it's pretty Kim Kardashian has broad shoulders and she wears thin straps
