I remember having these in high school, they were great! Might have to pick up another pair! Definitely like the dressier outfits with the Docs, a way to bring the classic/older silhouette in with the present day fashion!

One of my favorite outfits to go with a pair of 1461’s is a Black Turtleneck with a lighter color overcoat with black or dark grey jeans. Shoes wise I bounce between the Oxblood 1461’s and the Black ones shown here in the video depending on if I need more color in my outfit. I will say though these shoes are a major pain in the ass to maintain manually so I’d highly recommend only buying a pair if you have a shoeshiner or repair shop nearby so something like a Timpson’s if you are from the UK not sure what the alternative would be elsewhere.

I have a couple of DM. Once broken in, they become comfortable to wear. I like the way you style them. I call it "elevated casual". If someone needs a template for this style, it must be Kanye West. He is not a very tall guy. I think he is about 5foot 8inches tall but can rock casual clothes so well and so are you. You look like a model yourself.

Good point on streetwear combining with Docs as that’s what my style is predominantly (and noted years later now that A Cold Wall and Neighbourhood also done DM collabs) but steering away a tad recently. ..
