Love the straight-talking, non-judgmental approach to all the grooming issues in your videos. What you are really modeling is that it is OK for men to care about surface beauty in the quest to be our best selves. You show us what works, how we can get it, and then, presumably, we all move on to other things that are important in life. Who can take issue with that? Thanks, Weston. P.S: You hair color in this video has a really desirable ash cast. It is a color almost like slate brown with natural highlights--a great look for many men upwards of twenty. If this isn't just a fluke of lighting, what do you do to get it and keep it this way?

Tresemme Heat Protestant as a prestyler works really well for me. I use the Tresemme Freeze Hold 5. The 4 doesn't make it past 6 hours before my hair starts to fall. That's just me. I live in Los Angeles and on humid days, the Freeze Hold 5 works. As far as hair clays, I really like Paul Mitchell Reformer. It smells great, like you just walked out of a professional salon, and has a semi-matte finish. It has the slightest bit of shine but not like you'd expect from a pomade. Nothing like that. Just healthy looking. I just recently tried Redken Brews Clay. It has a great finish on the hair, again, a matte finish with even less shine than Reformer but it has am earthy-like smell. Like a type of coffee cake smell but not sweet. Very masculine smelling. Good info guy!

I have seen tons of these videos. This one is the only one that I think is made for people like me who really has a wavy hair and wants to know how blow drying, proper brushing and proper application of products can make a lot of difference. Otherwise, other youtubers already have a straight and manageable hair and I would not know if they have really achieved the final look by doing all these stuffs.

I also bought the Denman brush through your link. First time I've actually made a purchase in that way. For the last 5 years I had grown my hair long, just for fun. I just cut it off a couple weeks ago to about your length and have decided to actually style it a bit rather than just finger combing and sticking my head out the window as I drive - my previous method. Cheers! Thanks!

Pencil head! That is hysterical! I ACTUALLY said this once to a barber that I did not want to look like a used pencil eraser and that I had struggled in the past with how I wanted my fade cut to be done. We have a similar idea about hair style. Finally, after more than a decade worth of haircuts, she referred to this area of a mans cut as the “bulk line”. Who knew. I think all these in person tips are GREAT and it’s refreshing to have found a professional male offering such information in such a personal way! Thank you! @synergylive

@@WestonBoucher apparently bro I'm not a hair stylist I'm a prep coach but I've seen them on the Kardashians (that my Mrs makes me sit through). In my opinion and obv I'm slightly buyest cos I shelled out the £300 for it, but it's pretty epic. My girl used to spend money on salon quality dryers and they're great but the Dyson just completely blows them out of the water (No pun intended). It's half the weight, twice the speed feels cooler than the top end dryers but it like magically gives you a glass like sheen. My hair is not in the same league as yours but it makes mine look great. I can only imagine how phenomenal yours would look using one.

Most people don't realize that the reason why their hair always looks shitty, is the shape of their head, and the bone structure of the face not matching with any hairstyle... bryce e stay away from all soft shampoo or frizz control shampoos. Yes- your hair will feel pretty awesome. However, you won’t be able to do anything with it, it’ll just fall down. Use a volumizing shampoo (redkin high rise to name one, there’s so many brands). I personally use Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo with their tea tree moisturizing conditioner- perfect combo. Then blow dry it up- finishing up with hairspray instead of any paste, putty or cream. It holds better. Use any tigi bed head hairsprays, they smell the best and hold amazing + they’re affordable.

@@Nicholas175 hi bud, can you tell me , if i need to see ingredients while buying shampoo and conditioners , like what should i specifically keep in mind while buying shampoo😬?
@Nicholas175

King Kong nothing in specific honestly. It depends on the person. You really just have to try around and see what’s best for you. It’s a 10 IGK Bumble & bumble Paul Mitchell Redken Matrix biolage Tigi (bed head) American crew Those are about the only brands I’d be trying stuff out with. Tigi, redken, crew, and Paul Mitchell all have men specific haircare products. Get a small size and try them all to see what you like best. If you buy them from Ulta Beauty? They have a 60 day return policy so long as you keep your receipt when you order it online. So: buy a small size, try it out for 3 days. Wash your hair like every two days- now you’ve used that shampoo for a week. Didn’t like it? Return it, get your money back. Now onto the next one. Don’t ask which ones are best, try them out yourself! That’s the ONLY way to be very sure you’re getting exactly what you want and need. Hope this helps!

Hey! Had some struggles with my hair, which is fairly similar to yours. I wonder if your hair is cut evenly across the top, or if you have more hair on on side than the other? Thanks in advance!

I've got a question. Since my hair is 15% curlier than yours in this video. As there are a lot of products (e.g. pomade, paste, mousse, cream, clay, etc.) that can be used to style hair, is wax really recommended or can I use a different product?

It's about results. If you look good you look good end of story. I'm sorry I'm going to be a little bit misogynistic here, but that's like complaining that j.lo has small tits. It's fucking J.lo . Lol dude is a successful model . His beard line could be in the middle of his cheek and I bet he could still get work.
