Absolutely love your videos and I don’t even do survey work 😂 looks interesting though. So could you use the little RX to set a number of gcps and incorporate it into drone survey work where you have a basic drone without rtk?

The satellite imagery basemap is most likely WGS84, which is a different system to the local coordinate system Rami chose in job setup

I’m watching the video in real time as I’m typing this and I gotta say…this does not look accurate one bit. The asphalt 1 line is showing your shots well into the grass and the asphalt 2 line is showing the shots in the middle of the walking path.

That’s because the aerial projection is not accurate. The aerial projection is designed to guide you in the general location of your site, however, it is not accurately georeferenced to be in the right spot like your points and lines are.

@@RamiTamimi So, if I am understanding this correctly, the image is not in the correct location but your points and line from the Emild RX have absolute accuracy or would you need to add a Base station for absolute accuracy, instead of using a CORs network/NTRIP?

@@marknielsen9315 Yes, I finally figured that out. For absolute accuracy you need a base station over a known point,. But, how do you locate known point around my area in NYS and abroad? Thanks in advance, you are a valuable resource.

@@RamiTamimi This is actually one of the reasons i'm looking into this type of work. I'm a drone operator out in Canada and this looks great for aerial mapping. Ease of use wise. Would you recommend using an Rs2 as a base station for better accuracy?
