When you mentioned the story of Mrs wranglerstar's car, I remembered a friend of my family's. He was an engineer for Whirlpool, the division that makes the washers and dryers. He had an advanced education and did a very technical job. But he was a older bachelor and dressed like one. Old rumpled suits and a beat up, I mean beat up car. Finally, his supervisors told him that he represented the company as an engineer, and he needed to buy better clothes and get a new car. He finally broke down and bought a newer car and some better clothes. We stayed at his house one time and it was filled with empty beer bottles and National Geographic Magazines. I always laugh when I think about him being forced to buy a better looking car.

What's the big deal with mandatory masks? The way I see it we're allowed to do everything that we could pre-covid with the small caveat that we have to wear a mask. @@OvertonWindex I think if you had a chance to reconsider your last sentence you might do that, or perhaps in hindsight reflect on its vast generalization that doesn't really hold much water. Individual choice is balanced by the common good, and this must be carefully done not generalized as you have done. Freedom does cost lives, and when we defend our way of life we must sacrifice with deep and measured consideration before putting those lives in the breech. Individual rights and freedom doesn't mean you can just do what you want, you still need to exist with in society, and it means something entirely different when expressing your freedom you put others at risk. Whether its waving a loaded gun around, driving drunk, committing fraud, or willfully creating a health hazard activities like these have "curbs" to balance their effects on society. In this politically polarized sound bite driven world we live in you've thrown the baby out with the bathwater, your sound bite generalization reveals you've neglected "deep and measured consideration".

Hey Cody, I wanted to comment on your mask statement. IMO, it's not ridiculous, wearing a mask seems like exactly the type of thing you'd stand for. You already do so much for your neighbors without even a thought, but yet wearing the mask is ridiculous? Man I have been a fan for a lot of years and will continue to be, I'm not the type of person to be like, "he called masks ridiculous, boycott!!!" or whatever outrage is trendy at the time, but calling the mask ridiculous seems like the opposite of what Wranglerstar stands for. @@wranglerstar I have heard the conspiracies, and I respect your opinion and do agree to an extent, but I follow the advice of the medical professionals, and ignore the politicians. I know quite a few people now who have contracted it, even 2 young people (both under 30). What they have gone through, I would not wish on anyone. It's not going to kill everyone, we all know that, but it is for sure going to kill many of those at risk, and if you're asymptomatic, it's like walking around in public firing a gun at everyone. Sure you won't hit and kill everyone, but even if you hit and kill one, that is enough. Also, it's not like you have to wear them forever, just until the vaccines are ready and tested. I look at it as a way to help my fellow humans out, I don't give a damn what the politicians say because they're all criminals, but every doctor and nurse that I know personally advocates for masks on everyone. Those are the humans I listen to, as they are the ones who have the most intimate knowledge and experience of this thing we're battling. I hope you stay happy and healthy man, we need Wranglerstar videos for many years to come!

Most people do not have the economical resources to get all fancy stuff, many places guns is illegal. I can live with a decent medipack, firetools, a take-down 50 pound bow with take down arrows, some simple fishing gear, two knives, a tarp, wool blanket and some foldable underlay. The extras like rope, strings, dryed food and waterpurifieng is luxurious, never carry more than half your bodyweight. Try to pack a 'bug out' bag, weigh it and repack, then walk 10 miles with it, and start finetune the load. Dont forget a liable compass, but scrap the smartphone, better with a small handdriven multiband oneway radio.

That kit you have is going to be state mandated on the West and East coasts, us middle country folk don't really need it but carry it for fun and a great way to meet new people.

I've built a similar setup except for the pack. I use a milspec monkey cyoa pack that buckles on to the back of the plate carrier. All made in USA by the way!

Ugh. My respect for you waned a little when you called wearing masks a joke. Such a shame people in the US have this mentality considering how awfully they're doing at handling the virus.

I at least appreciate that you wear a mask when in public. Thank you for that. I wish you could see why its so important to do so right now, however. In my home town, people have started ignoring the mask mandate and we're now the hotspot of my state. People are dying here.

Hey Cody long time fan and enthusiast of your videos, just wanted to say that as a younger man that had grandpa similar to yours but didn’t get to spend as much time with mine as you did with yours . But following your channel has taught me many things that he would have if time would’ve been on our side. So as you would would say god bless you and your family and thanks

Wearing a mask isn’t stupid, it’s not political. It is the same reason you wear a seatbelt, sure it’s mandated by the government but you do it because it’s smart and good sense. Don’t fall victim to propaganda.

I wear a seatbelt because my property is steep and I keep sliding out of my seat. Can a mask do that? Lol, I'm pokin, seriously though, if someone is that close for you to need a mask, here in the south you're fixin to fight....

Love the rig. Seems a little slow. Might think about trying to keep the Velcro detach on the chest rig so that when you’re getting shot it in the riots go to, I mean Portland you can pop it on quick.

Very well thought out bags. Im Always impressed with your organization. Might need to upgrade those glock sights. I've seen them drift and be torn off too many times while on the line at Thunder Ranch. Especially during one hand manipulations.
