Absolutely amazing video! Very helpful and hitting all the points that are crucial and that most people had questions about! I learned two new things from this such at torquing the barrel but then backing it off a few times, as well as using some anti seize on the barrel nut! Thanks!

Fleet and Farm stores carry Aero Precision parts/components. That's why I'm always in there buying their high quality uppers and handguards. I've got to make another trip and get another ATLAS S ONE handguard. 👌

Great video. I have one I need to remove that A2 sight from. Pretty much doing what you’ve done in the vid. I have a vise but no insert to hold the barrel. I also do not have the brownells sight block. Think I can still do this procedure.. opinion.? Thank you in advance Chris

The Atlas handguard nut and handguards system fits on any regular threaded upper receiver? It doesn't have to be the Aero M4E1 Enhanced. I was thinking that it only fit their Aero proprietary receiver.

I don’t think he was asking about the Geissele Reaction Rod. I think he was referring to thing that is holding the Reaction Rod. It looks like it’s a Wilton Low Profile Drill Press Vise, or something similar. What is the make and model for the vice?

Planning on doing this to my AR. Can I re-use my gas tube with the new gas block or do you recommend buying a new one? I'm not changing the length, just free floating it.

How about swapping it the other way around? I can't find anyone that will mill the pins to put on a A2 front site. I see videos of people taking them off, but i have to buy barrels with them on it. Seems like a waste to me.

In what world do those taper pins come out that easy? Been pounding on mine for 20 minutes and they still won’t budge.

He mentioned they broke them loose already. A little heat from a torch helps expand things a bit to help drive out the pins. But yea, a concrete floor is typically the surface you need to use, a bench can have too much bounce.

I would call our tech department on that one. also depends on what your talking about, bullet weight? powder? what caliber?

@@AeroPrecision .308.. I’m guessing powder. Like when you buy a box of ammo and it says like 150 grain.. I think it goes up to 200 but I heard I can only shoot 150 from someone but I can’t find anything online

You don't need locktite if you torque it to specs.

Depends on manufacturer, some are left to right, some are right to left. If it's not working try it from the other side.

Poorly executed video from an armorers perspective. Don't ruin a perfectly good M4 upper. Just build a free floated upper. Don't use aeroshell 33 either because the correct aeroshell "was" 33MS which is now renamed 64. If you have a pinned fsb leave it the eff alone & sell it if that's not what you want!

I have all free float uppers but want to do an a2 build next; might be old school but the a2 has been around for ages and it’s bulletproof call it retro but I want to build one so bad or find a complete one without a handguard I can throw a quad rail on they’re tanks

LOL, Aeroshell 33 still works fine, as do others. Some people don't have a lot of choice (especially during the last year) of what upper they can get & after they get one, they want to customize it. The fact that you can't remove an A2 FSB without ruining it doesn't mean others can't.
