How to take a Screenshot in a Tesla

Learn how to take a screenshot of your Tesla's center display. This new screenshot feature is enabled on vehicles with Tesla firmware 2024.2.2.1 and above using Tesla's Toolbox software. See service.tesla.com for prices and access.

That's really neat that Tesla listened to your suggestion, then implemented it! As an aside, you were the reason I decided to buy a RAV4 Hybrid last year. After viewing your video on how the ECVT works, it removed all my prior doubts that the Toyota hybrid system was the way to go. I appreciate all that you provide to this audience!

You can get a new model y awd for 37k after tax credit. Pretty hard to find a better option for the money. I have seen bolts for like 30k though new I guess though.

I've seen many FSD testers/youtubers actually modify the screen to get an hdmi output port to record video or screenshots. May be worth the trouble.

Even after paying three grand.. you still only get one year of use before paying again? Wow, that's criminal. Charging that much for something that should just come with the car for free. So insane. I like Elon and I like Tesla.. But the level of corruption that we just accept as "the norm" -- is beyond bonkers. This is very anti-Right to Repair for the regular DIY owner and it's sad to see it.

Every car manufacturer charges this much and more for less than what Tesla is giving you for free. Go to service.tesla.com and you can access free service manual’s, wiring diagrams, parts catalog, etc. the only thing that costs money to access is the diagnostic software. $3000 per year for diagnostic access is a fair price.

@@WeberAuto It shouldn't be that way. It should be free across all brands; it should come with the purchase of the vehicle. I have a couple of good scan tools to work on cars.. and I know a site that keeps a library of free manuals for all vehicles. So I can work on any car practically free. The fact that it costs this much just for the privilege to use their software makes me never want to buy one. cheers

@@WeberAuto His premise is still correct.. The price is ridiculous. This is highway robbery and very anti-trust, gate keeping, monopoly type unscrupulous graft. This is why the "right to repair" fight is so important.
