You are going to love this Italian classic Bruschetta Toast Recipe on delicious French Bread! (With a new Twist!) We will show you how to make this easy dish!

RECIPE
Dice 10 medium Roma tomatoes into 1/4 inch cubes
Place them in a medium to large bowl and add:
1/2 cup basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 or 2 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
Just a pinch of salt and pepper
Mix lightly and chill for 15 minutes
Slice your french bread at an angle and brush
both sides of the bread with a mixture of:
4 tbsp. melted butter
4 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. garlic paste
Brown on a griddle or in a pan then let cool
on a bed of paper towels.
Put your tomato mixture on the bread just before
serving or let your guests dish it up themselves.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip on the bread. I don’t like bread 🥖 so hard you can crack a tooth and the garlic and evoo brushed on the bread saves a lot of steps and time. Can’t wait to try this

I usually put some cut up mozzarella and a shot of balsamic vinegar in mine , and I don’t use garlic in mine… just on the bread …but this looks yummy as well …

Looks delicious,I made it the other day and I added fresh spring onions along with freshly shredded Pecorino remonoe and a little thymealong with usual basil , garlic salt and pepper.

Basil will turn dark after it's been cut. Wait until you're about to pour in the olive oil, then cut up your basil and add it. The lemon juice and olive oil will help it to resist going dark. The bright green is what you really need for bruschetta. Mangia Mangia.
