Coming from someone who had approach anxiety, do the following, learn to feel good from within. If you're talking to someone and they leave and you feel bad it's cause you want them to stimulate you and make you feel good. Train yourself to feel good if she leaves. The ultimate test is if your perfect partner left, you'd feel about the same with or without her.

THIS. And it applies not only or approach anxiety alone. In general, as long as you depend on the "good feels' from others, you are dependant and needy. Learning to generate positive mental states in yourself is the ultimate tool I believe

VERY PRACTICAL power dynamics here. I have often found the 48 laws of power to not be applicable. In theory but not in skill. This is a dope walkthrough or true social dynamics!

@@TheBigMclargehuge meditation is not a joke when done properly look at the research and all the people who have benefitted from it personally. I bet you love staying stuck in your head full of negativity judgment and egoic bs
@ladev914 жыл бұрын
@@TheBigMclargehuge it helps train you how to focus and helps get you out of your habitual thinking and have a more clear view on life. Nobody is saying you have to do it hours a day. 10 to 20 minutes is good. You aren't meditating to make progress in mediation itself. Meditation is a meta skill that improves everything else you do in life because your practicing how to focus.
@RedPillsAreGood4 жыл бұрын
In meditation you find answers, you relax your body, you feel inner peace, you become less triggered by annoyances ... I could go on, it's great. If you never felt these benefits or any other ones then I don't know what to say to you.
@giulio94764 жыл бұрын
In my opinion meditation can help with developing focus on what matters in the right moment, it help to develop the abilty to get back your focus on all the other factor when you are too concentraed on what is happening in you head, for exemple when you experience fear or anxiety, and you need to fell the external world again, rapidly, in order to react in the right way. It helps in recognasing when your mind is not in the right place for what you are doing in the moment. Usally I train this shift of focus when I am running, while the mind is wondering, every once in a while I focus on the feelings in my body, the sound of the environment around me, the wind blowing on the skin.

Apathy and acceptance can seem so similar sometimes. I think a big difference is that with apathy there is no push or need to take action because you brain just goes "Why would you? It doesn't matter anyway." But acceptance promotes the ability to take action because instead of thinking that the action is useless in itself or thinking that taking action doesn't matter, with acceptance you realize that taking action IS the reason and whatever comes from that action isn't the goal, but just a bonus. Not something you NEED. Like it still doesn't matter but it doesn't matter because you're coming at it from a completely different head space.

6:20 I had that exact same problem back when i was in community college with writing essays, and i had a feeling it was due to something with me. Once, the teacher asked..."who here has their points but has trouble organizing your thoughts in a cohesive manner?" And EVERYONE in the class raised their hand except me. And i just sat their thinking "how? I dont even know what i wanna say at all. Am i just stupid?" And sometimes during excerises in class, the teacher would make us write a paragraph for like 10 minutes. Everyone would finish, except me. I literally would have like one or two sentences. And I do have trouble with coming up with things to say aswell during conversation. And if i say something, its usually dumb and not interesting or witty. Crazy stuff.
