In this English lesson you'll learn some handy phrases to use when you make a mistake. We all make mistakes, and knowing how to talk about mistakes is always a cool thing to know how to do.
In this lesson I'll talk about a mistake I made, and give you a few example sentences to show you how I would talk about that mistake. You can use my examples for your own conversations in the future.
There's even a bonus phrase that you'll learn to talk about making mistakes when doing math or calculations.
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about mistakes. I also hope you don't make too many mistakes when speaking English! Have a great day!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

I clicked the SUBCSCRIBE button after watching just two of your videos. I like your format: you give a short intro of what the content is about, then you give the content, then wrap up. Neat and simple: phrase no. 1, then a short explanation of how it's used, then on to phrase no. 2, etc. Fast-paced, not boring, but well-explained.

Hello Bob, I think maybe you were just so caught up in your morning routine or going through your daily schedule in your head that you didn't immediately realize that you had the wrong attachment 😎. (Something like this can happen very quickly.) And if you ask me, I think you always look good, Bob, regardless of the length of your beard or hair 🥰. In general, it seems to me that your hair always grows very quickly.......or it's more because time goes by so quickly 🤔. Anyways, thanks for the new lesson. I wish you a nice Tuesday. 🍵🌿🍪

There is a fifth simple way of doing this that is also understood by some non-English speakers: "Oops". It is generally used for small mistakes with short-term or very minor implications such as knocking something out of place or letting your grip slip.

The other day, I said to my husband " I gotta put my kids to sleep." It means I euthanize them. I should've said "I gotta put my kids to bed." I made a mistake. But it's okay cuz my husband who is Japanese didn't even notice how l messed up. But, if he was an English speaker, l would've screwed up.😅 Anyway, you didn't make any mistakes in this lesson even though you were off for a while from you tube. Perfect lesson 🤩 🙌👏Thanks!!
