YES the guy must love the woman more!!! I heard this growing up too from family and also my pastor even preached it once. He pointed out in the Bible if you look at the commands God gives husband and wife, he commands wife to RESPECT husband and husband to LOVE wife. Alot of triggers need to be put to rest and people need to grow pass things. Sunday, I was talking to someone who I am dating and I said something about a celebrity, he disagreed with my assessment. I just accepted what he said and laughed about it. I'm not about to argue with someone about a celebrity I will never meet. There are people I don't ever be around and we grew up in the same community. They think we are suppose to have the same views on everything does not mean captability. I need something new, fresh, convince me.

I so agree with not needing to argue and not having to be on the same page with everything. Everyone is always amazed about how much my husband cares for us and how sincerely he loves and provides etc. But we're as different from each other as possible. From different countries, different religion, different cultures, different upbringing, different education levels etc. I guess it's simply because we allow each other to be different and i appreciate his masculinity and he my feminity. :)

This is all so beautiful and true-- sadly I've met a man who is so contrary-- I believe his depression really gets in the way of happiness so he doesn't respond to anything, and he seems to hate when I'm happy and seems to be a party pooper-- its really bizarre and getting scary at this point. So I will likely break it off with him soon... I feel as though I have to pretend I don't like music or art to keep him from frowning-- I've definitely experienced more tenderness in other guyd. This guy is too stoic and mean spirited for me. I still feel this method is natural and works, just has to be with a guy who is happy with you and happy with life.
