Do you need to be close to the animal to tame it? Or if just pasify shows you can not tame the animal? (Because probably not a random spawn?)

At level 35 I tamed a level 24 mirelurk hunter, I got It from the crashed vertibird north of abbies bunker.

Soneone with high charisma should post how much of it is needed for each of the cool animals. So far with 7 charisma i only tamed a scorched roadtoad lvl 21( i'm 130).

Had a glowing level 91 death claw pacified at level 94 don't know how but I couldn't figure out how to send him back to my base. Found him at Hopewell cave.

Dont know if you have to be a certain level charisma because I'm at 5 and while I havent found any tameable animals yet, on certain creatures I have a double pacify option, one pacify by hitting X and the other pacify option by hitting Y. Dont know if any one else has this or not

Be careful I tamed a death claw and it started destroying my base and I cannot get rid of this bastard even when it dies it comes back

So I recently got a deathclaw but logged in today for like an hour later he disappeared. No carcass or anything. IDK if someone somehow killed it or it glitched

I found out it doesnt have to be lower than half of your lvl. I recsntly tamed a scorched deathclaw lvl 91 with me having lvl 131

You need "wasteland whisperer" & "animal friend" perk cards equipped at the same time in the Charisma category for you to be able to tame animals, I don't think you can tame scorchbeasts.

For some reason I can’t tame any animals, my charisma is 13, I have a maxed out animal friend perk and a level two wasteland whisperer perk. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do??

K so how tf does this work? I went around to all the locations with level 9 charisma and animal friend maxed out server hopping for 2 hours. I found a pack of bucks and all that came up was pacify not tame. Is it bcuz they were a pack? Or something else? Cuz I've yet to see the tame option

Must make sure you have room in camp budget...before trying to send animal home. About the size of one turret. (I set aside equivalent of two turrets to b safe)

K i really need help cuz im really getting po and am ready to snap my disk. Im level 34, full maxed out animal friend with 8 charisma. I found a lvl 16 yao gui all alone. Pacify is the only thing that pops up ever. For everything in general. Even a level 1 fox. Like wtf is going on. Cuz litterly no utuber has ever been able to clarify anything about this at all. At this point its like its all speculation. Yeah u can do it for sure...but how to is just all theories and speculation. Cuz i litterly bet a million dollars that i can't and never will.
