@@madcrasy6841 (what i ve said EARLY GAME) at dimensional tablet 2 u cant make a lasso to tame goat so for extra slot and extra shield the only options just wolf and bear. but yeah goat maybe better after finished DIMENSIONAL TABLET 3.. anyway nice to share

Yep they mature. And about extra inventory when they mature, yes too. It's just really hard to make it mature. Maybe 28 game days of feeding and making sure it's alive.

Do bears only appear in forest maps? I close all the holes on desolate meadow and no bears appear, i even go till jungle maps. There is only 1 hole in forest map. I have tamed 10 beast for unlocking beast tamer and all of them are wolves

I think you're really just unlucky with the RNG. Lol. They spawn everywhere. It's just that bear's are a bit rare.

If you raised it well you can bring them in caves and attack monster. Goat can't go to cave's nor attack monster so having pet is a better choice. They just need some food to maintain. I recommend taming pet in mid to late game. Don't bother in early game.

You mean bear? If it is, then yep. You can tame them like this.I haven't seen any other colors of wolf yet. Only normal bears and normal wolf. Hope that helps.
