** i forgot to mention that eventually, when your dog understands the cue POW POW, you can remove your hand slowy from his chest, to eventually not having to put your hand on him to due the tricks. The only reason why you put your hand on his chest, it's because it looks like the hand motion you did when you had the treats in your hands.

Well first of all, its pretty rare that big dogs uses toilet paid, is there a reason in particular ? :)
@shad0wx0x0

There are things that they sell to put around your toilet pad so the dog can't chew it or move it around : (O)

Joey looks smaller here in this video vs the last one you posted. Was this when he was younger? Has there been any bad habits that he has started to do that you needed to spend time on to train him?

No he is older in this video, and weights more. Probably because of the angle and the fact that he is lying down the whole video. Oh yes i did. He was verry well socialised so i had to work on pulling on the leash when he saw people or dog, ( he would walk by my side otherwise) he wanted to go meet them so bad. But this was my fault, when he was young he would pull me (like 2 months old) to go see them and i would let him do it because i wanted him to socialised, i wouldnt make that error again. Now he is fine on the walks. He also started to bite ( it doesn't hurt tho) hands when he sees people, especially people he knows alot when he isreally excited, that is due to people playing with their hands with him even if i told them not to, currently working on that).

It totally must have been the angle then. How did you train him not to pull when he was on the leash? I'm not sure how it is in Canada, but it doesn't sound like Joey needed all his shots before being socialized with other dogs. I don't know if you remember me, but I came across your videos earlier this year after losing my Rottie and I'm actually going to be getting a new Rottie puppy this year (if all goes well) and I was just curious if you had to be extra careful exposing him to other dogs at such a young age. I've heard it's best to make sure they have most if not all their shots before going to parks or dog parks, but I'm still trying to find out if that's true. The youngest my dog was when I got her was 10 months so I've never experienced a Rottie puppy at a young age and I'm trying to get all the tips and tricks that I can before he's ready for pick up. :)

can you tell me what you did with puppy bitting?
@shad0wx0x0

When you try to teach a command ? They could try to bite because they try to reach the food. it's kind of innevitable tho. I would try to put my hand abit more out of reach so he would still follow my hand but couldn't reach it. You want him to make the position, so i remember just focussing on the position instead of his little biting, because eventually your hand won't be close to him and he will learn not to bite. ( of course every other time during the day i would teach him not to bite hands). But i would just position my hand abit further, so he wouldnt reach it. Eventually he will grow older and stop that behavior, tho he still do it sometimes, but since he is older i simply say no and he understands.

Oh yes its totally normal, specially at this age ! I use a firm word ( doesn't matter which one, only your energie matters, so beeing calm and assertive and firm, i use, HEY or NO or EH EH or SHHHHH really depends how it comes out lol and redirect him to a toy. If he bites when you try to pet him, say a word and remove your hand, only pet him when he is calm. He will understand to that have attention, he needs to be calm and when he bites he gets ignored by you and you redirect him to a toy, bone ect. Its a thought phase, i remember kinda going crazy too lol. In this video you can see it abit in this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/htF5lM9o39uqp4E.html at 0:29 (never use your dogs name to punish him) and at 1:04 and you can also redirect his attention when he bites your ankles with the command sit like i did at 1:06 when i saw he was coming to bite the camera, (or my hands?) and at .1:10 i say NO and my boyfriend redirect him on his toy. As you can see, in like 1 minute i had to correct him 4 times lol, its alot of patience, but it pays at the end ! Also never play with your hands with your dog, that's really important you don't want him to think that hands are toys and bite them.

Hey Trainer ! M from India & I want to have a Rottie.. Can u plz make a video how to choose pure breed Rottie ?
@shad0wx0x0
@shad0wx0x0 7 жыл бұрын
Mhmmm that is kind of hard because depending of where you live, your standar of the breed might varies. My dog is pretty different from an american, or german so if you are looking for the german one i can't use my dog ( his parents are from italie) to show you what you should be looking for, but i could make a video of a pure german one.
