I assume that some of the retailers that are within the Deciem network are selling the old bottles to Asia, and that's why the resellers cannot tell people from where they got the products. It is widespread in Europe to sell old stock to Asia. There must be someone that's selling it. Also, I have come across some fake products that have significant differences, grammar mistakes, and it even says Made in China on the bottle and packaging, and the packaging is full of little mistakes! So entirely different from old stock. No, most sellers are honest people. But there is no way that you can be sure if it's authentic or not, since there is always a very little chance that you got a fake product. The bottom line is that I haven't seen any counterfeit products yet. Just some weird picture that people sent me, but that looked photoshopped, so I am not sure if they were actually fake. Since I asked those people to send a video or different angles, but they never replied to me. So it's highly likely that you get an original product but just paid a lot more for it ;)

It's similar to Niacinamide but transparent and not hazy. But it's normal to get breakouts when being new to an active ingredient. The skin needs to adjust to it, taking a few days or sometimes a few weeks. However, if you are concerned about having a fake product, do not use it.

I don't know that brand; I assume that it is similar. Always buy from there retailers or the main website :)

You need to use these exfoliating acids regularly to give you the benefits; it takes some time to show the full effect, I would say several weeks at least when used daily/regularly. It is not a "cure" but a treatment, so you need to continue. Therefore I have switched mainly to a Salicylic Acid cleanser since I think it is more convenient over time. And yes, it is a bit sticky, but if you use the right amount, 2-3 drops for your face and 1-2 drops for your neck, it should be alright.

No, this isn't a concern. However, if your soap should make your skin too dry, applying Glycolic Acid afterwards may lead to irritation due to your cleanser making your skin too dry. If that should be the case, I recommend using a non-drying cleanser so that it won't dry out nor irritate your skin.

@@maanbustamante I have had a few Ordinary Glycolic Acid bottles myself and the colour is slightly different and the smell is a bit stronger as well. I bought them from the Ordinary website. I wouldn't worry too much! :) Yeah, the pandemic causes lots of breakouts to many of us...either due to stress or the mask. It's not that easy, but we can improve it over time :)
