Now hopefully, you’ve done that and the relationship is booming with the both of you. If not, it’s okay. Some people just take longer than usual. But if you’ve been together for a while and finally gave it some thought to say the ‘L’ word. This is your time to do it. Love is a strong word so if you say it to them, it should mean something. And once it’s out there, there’s no taking it back. So, here’s 8 ways on how to tell someone you love them.

I realized that i never say it first solely, because i wasnt showed what love was as a child. If your parntner doesnt tell you it first even if it seems like they do love, you just take it slow or just say it yourself.

I’m in that trying to test the waters type of phase in my relationship. We’re in a long distance relationship but knew each other and even crushed on each other a long LONG while back. We’ve been been catching up and talking a lot more often as of the past few months. Anyways I was about drop the “L” word literally tonight as I’ve been wanting to for a while now, but had to stop myself cause I didn’t think long distance over vid call is the best idea. I want it perfect, yet this summer (when she’ll be back to stay in the states) is so so long away. I’m feeling like waiting till then would be optimal after watching this. I don’t want this to be infatuated feelings, I want this to last. We’ve talked about going hiking cause I’ve never done it before and/or stargazing as well with a picnic thrown in for good measure. I’m not even sure what I’m trying to ask you guys 😂. Maybe do y’all have any advice on how I can make this TRULY special and meaningful? I’m not the best with these kind of things as I’ve really never done it before. I know it realistically comes down to me and my judgment, but it’s worrisome to me. Like trying to ride a bike for the first time, it’s scary, yet I know I have to push forwards for the ride to take place. I would definitely appreciate anyone who has any ideas. Also my family thinks badly of her....and I am not used to going on dates with only girls not like a gang. Furthermore, my father advised me not to, cause all these relationships that starts in college, end up pretty soon after marriage. Or dating for a while.

Also they told me that my long romantic essays were pretty beautiful? I dont know. I mean I can talk and flirt, I take care of my personality, self and physical shape. So maybe I got a shot. I told my crush I liked her (liked, not love) over text and it’s one of my biggest regrets. Again, couldn’t see them in person, but I wish I said it over call. But then again, I totally would’ve embarrassed her by saying “your friend told me you like me, is it true?” before I confessed if I could redo it.
