I am 45 and got pregnant naturally. It was not planned and was a surprise. I lost the baby yesterday at 11.5wks. I was finally becoming excited to have a new little one and am devastated by the loss. I asked my OB about trying again and she said that it was impossible to improve egg quality at my age and that at my age most of my eggs would probably have genetic defects. I don't want to use a donor egg and was wondering if it was possible to change the quality at this age.

Hello doctor, I'm from Brazil. I did recent tests and found that I almost don't have testosterone. I believe this is due to the use of antidepressants. The rest, I am within the parameters of my age of 42 years. I also have digestive problems, lactose intolerance. And I always have my abs distended

in my 42 i got Amh 3.5. i have my hormon checked in Germany. they get my blood and then i got all the results in one picture.

I am 39 and my AMH is 2.77 and the other mentioned important test results are great. However, we did egg collecting already, and from 16 collected eggs (14 were matured) and injected with sperm, resulting in only 5 embryos. (can you give me your thoughts on that, is it the age and quality of eggs why the result is only 5 embryos, or it is a normal result? ) Now embryos are frozen. I have some fibroids, and those should be removed after that I can proceed with embryo transfer. P.S. I live an extremely healthy life (food, exercises, vitamins, etc.)

Hi Dr Sklar, I am 42 and have just found out I am pregnant!!! The last 5 months I’ve focused on diet, exercise and improving egg quality with fish oil, Ovaboost, extra folate and of course a prenatal! We conceived our 1st month trying! I’m hoping this is a good sign. Any advise or hint or tips so I don’t freak out until my dating scan? I’m not scheduling it until 9 weeks as I usually miscarry around the 8 week. And as I have missed miscarriages and remain symptomatic I won’t know until my 12 week scan. I hope all this makes sense. Thank you for your videos. ❤️

Not at all. They regulated my cycles and the pain I experienced when I ovulated disappeared. I am 43 and I am 12 weeks pregnant! Conceived in 4 cycles!

Hi doctor, could you please have a look at my test results and tell me how is my position, I am 36 yrs (estradiol level=124 pmol/L, FSH=4 IU/L, LH=3 IU/L, prolactin level=381 mIU/L, testosterone= 0.9 nmol/L, progesterone=1 nmol/L, TSH=1.57 mU/L, 25 hydroxyvitamin D3=29.6 nmol/L, Amh 13.1 pmol/L) I have done all test at day 5 of my cycle except AMH which has done at day 3 and also another progesterone test at day 21 which is = 64 nmol/L)

Hii Marc!! I did a laporascopy test. Found out I have only one ovary. My right ovary is missing. Doctor says it can be a growth issue. How can I get pregnant with one ovary and fallopian tube? I have been trying for 2 years now. 27 years.

Hi Marc: I’m 43 years old and have two older kids from my last relationship. My partner and I had decided to have a baby. I’ve had three miscarriages over the last year. I have done all of the labs you suggested as well as the ultrasounds and X-ray and everything has come back normal. I change to the Mediterranean diet and am taking coq10 vitamin D and methyl folate. I have no issues getting pregnant staying pregnant has been the issue. I’m told it’s bc of my age and egg quality. The specialist is not concerned with my partner and doesn’t think a work up on him is worth doing. I’m just concerned where to go from here. And input would be appreciated thanks

Lisa, If you have done all the testing on yourself but none on him, I would start there. This can't be ignored. Rule it out and move on.
