Thank you so much for stopping by. I am curious to hear - which one of the cognitive biases do you find most challenging to tackle? What works for you when it comes to un-biased/less biased decision making? I would love to hear.

Thank you Sabine for this wonderful video! Many of the concepts you took up are actively being taught at my university. Examples include System 1 and 2, False Consensus Bias and Confirmatory Bias. A sad, but nevertheless funny, example of confirmatory bias ruining companies that one of my professors mentioned would include a big group SWOT analysis where, for example, the participants would write 'kind, lovely team' as a Strength 😂. I would like to mention that is very difficult for someone who is unaware of an active bias to conciously detect it... However, I have never heard of the Availability Bias before so it is something that I could benefit from noticing in the future. Thank you, again, for this wonderful video (you earned a subscriber) and I hope all the best for you and your channel!

Thank you so much for your kind feedback and your support for the channel, so appreciated. I am glad this video has been valuable. You are so right, it is not that easy to detect and work around these biases - that is why awareness is so key (from my point of view) - once we know, we can actively start to watch out and review our own thinking and sense-making process. Please let me know in case there are any particular topics related to career and leadership you would like to hear about. Suggestions are always welcome.

Hello Mohib, so nice to 'see' you again. How are you? Thank you for your question. You might find the concept of GRIT (book by psychologist and researcher Angela Duckworth) helpful in this regard. GRIT is It the ability to persist in something you feel passionate about and persevere when you face obstacles. I hope this is helpful.
