Thanks! I learned my bobbin was the wrong size, thought I was doing it wrong ha! Glad to see other sewers using this lovely little machine! My mom made all her high school clothes with it in the 70s and now its purring away in my house :)

Hello Elizabeth, I have pulled out my Mums machine she bought years ago and it's the same as on here. Having trouble trying to find needles. Bought a generic set on Ebay said to be suitable for Singers but it's too long. Have you any idea of what I should be looking for as the on line manual is no help. Would appreciate your help, cheers Meredith, Australia

Hi Meredith any universal needle should work. Perhaps you need to put it in further as it should fit fine

@@elizabethmarchetti6950 we thought so too. Have a feeling something is not right underneath. Perhaps the bobbin case has moved and that's what it's hitting? Has been in storage in the shed for years. Would you mind measuring the exact length of your current needle so we know for sure ta? We'd be most grateful. Cheers 😉
