How to tie a Duck Fly (variation)

The Duck Fly is essentially a wet fly but shares many characteristics as a buzzer. Ideal for when the fish are higher in the water and you want your fly to defend through the water column more slowly.

Hi Lindsay I trust you are well. Nice fly … I tie and fish something similar and that is basically a Blakestones buzzer minus the back flash and with a hackle. Its quite a reliable fly when the fish are in the top few feet. Atb Jim

Semperfli do one exactly the same. Should be able to get it at Angling Active.
