How to Tie a Floss Loop with Wax Thread

Күн бұрынA floss loop is a useful tool to add to you fishing line when trolling for bigger game. The loop allows you to attach the line to a tag line or clip with a rubber band. This is useful when high speed trolling for Wahoo. This video will show you how to rig up your own floss loop.

So if I get this right, you use only the rubber bands to connect to a planar from a cleat and not inline with this system right? Otherwise, you would need 2 loops properly spaced to clip on the planar, like we do with our planar bridle system .

Yeah I use this technique when running the planar from the cleat. It's also good for tag lines.

Nope, I just leave it as it comes. It works good as is.

U want to make sure ur knots are tight because u don't want all that to bunch up an get caught in first roller of ur pole an have the braid burn its way throught an smoke ur line ,I've seen it done ✅ Or get bunched up so a swivel ,rubber band can't come through an lose a monster

Definitely! I find it harder to put on braid. I have to do more knots and pull tighter.
