Bought my first house and this helped with renovations. Husband isn't as into reno work as me so it was a solo project, but this helped me both get over my fears of do it yourself work as well as thought me how to tile the bathroom. Thank you so much!

Your namesake holds true you are definitely a wild rose. Nothing sexier than seeing a woman who likes to get her hands dirty and isn't afraid to take on some big projects. I own my own Remodeling Company and I've been fortunate enough to have two ladies over the years work for me that were very similar to you. Beautiful but also got in there with the best of them just like the guys and love to do remodeling projects. They were some of the best employees I've ever had and naturally the customers favorites...lol. I think it's great showing people that women can do a lot of this work themselves and save themselves some money. Keep it up, all the best.

Another great video! one point on the grout sealer that you used, I typically use mapei Grout Maximizer which Is a modified product with sealer built into it that you use instead of water to mix the grout. That way you never need to use a sealer or buy the applicator and applying a sealer is messy anyway.

As a tile tile setter, I find it much easier to lay thin mosaic tiles using a grout float to depress the tile into the adhesive. All the best to you. Cory

I get jealous when you bring out that large tile cutter. They're so nice. Someday maybe. Nice stainless steel material pan, and it looked like a Marshalltown grout float. Only the best if so. Save some change and graduate (no, not a bad measuring joke) to this combination square: Starrett C11H-12-4R 12". It makes a huge difference in operation and precision. I have the 12 and 24 inch version, smooth black finish (more expensive). Make sure to get the Satin Chrome finish otherwise you have to be on high guard for rust on the Regular blade. Nurses fix people and tired design. Great looking start!

As most hobbyist doing a small job like this won't be using a huge wet tile cutter (renting nor owning one), you can just get a manual tile cutter which is good for softer tile like these glass mosaic tiles. You'll have to go through each tile and break as you go from tile to tile, but it's more practical if you are just cutting the tile short distances on each side like this project. No need to use the wet tile cutter unless you already do OR you are doing a lot of tile cutting for the whole bathroom for example.
