I encourage everyone to try this. It's actually insane how much more fluid your strokes are when you close your eyes through contact. I do it very often when I play now.

This an outstanding video. I have been doing this for about a year now. My technique is a little different, I wait until I hear the impact with the ball then I close my eyes. My head remains very still, I know this because I use video to check my technique. Last March I was chosen to represent the United States in the World Team Championships held in Turkey for players over 70. I strongly encourage everyone to follow this video. One evening I was in the zone under the lights practicing serve. Then of course lights went out and this crazy idea occurred. Keep going... that was such an epiphany. The confidence inspiration was surreal and erased my decades of death grip serves. I'm sure this drill will be very similar in outcome. In short a total reset on mindset. I'll give this a go Steve thank you.
