Mother of god. Thank you sir! I knew how they worked like when the get tight, but did NOT know depending on what side it falls under the line or above indicates what it’s most likely to do, yes the candles determine too but this cleared that up for that indicator for me.

@@mattwhaley4903😂😂😂 same. Made over $1,000 today with 1 trade on AMC. Got back in but will sell tomorrow at some point. Wash rinse and repeat. I use the MACD more though while I’m working my full time job. Watched an older guy throw a small $200 in blindly on AMC and he was down $58 within a few minutes. Sat him down and explained the MACD. He made a turn around and is holding now😎👍

U need to use bb with MA 5,10 low and high. Its called BBMAOA technique. Bollinger band moving average oma ally.. Suitable for scalping and swing. Thx me letter..

Yes, narrowing of standard deviation of bands means consolidation due to lack of volatility. In other words a wedge or pennant is being formed on one of the time frames.

Or or or, add a 200 ema and if it’s above only go for long positions. If it is below go for shorts only. Combine it with trendlines on the 1D and 4H and you’ve got expectations on when the trend will change.

What people dont get here is that bollingerbands are a lagging indicator, which means they respond to rather than predict price changes, potentially informing you of changes after they've already happened.

Video: shows price extending from bands and says it’s a bad indicator of tops or bottoms. Chart displayed: shows profitability at every single occurrence of price extending from bands, especially the ones highlighted in the very video that said do not use.
