Yes it does….I was in doubt just like you…the only thing is I had to wipe my phone and start afresh….just follow the steps religiously while connected to the Wi-Fi everything will work out fine

Hey after logging WhatsApp on my iPhone it’s saying you can resend code (otp) after 10 hours as I have tried it many times . So after 10hours I have to reset my phone again or I have to continue my process from there

@@akashhdi Wait for the turn around time. (24-48) hrs where u can request an otp again. Proceed with same Move to ios process with android and Format ur iphone before that and repeat the process. We don't get otp due to frequent request so wait

For whatsapp its not working. After 87% it's showing "some error occurred" I tried 10 times from different Android devices but no luck. Rest data transfer is working perfectly.

I did all the steps the iphone kept on failing on 40% on Import phase. I restarted the phone and open whatsapp again data migration succeded

Yes !! RESET iPhone Will Delete all your iPhone Data, So make sure you backup your iPhone first.

I tried to move my whatsapp chats with media included from file manager and between that process my android Fon switched off and i lose my all media from gallery and file manager and nothing received on ios. What do i do to recover all my original medias of whatsapp. And i also try whatsapp backup but did not work for me. All the chats i have but all my videos,photos and audio got deleted please help me it’s very important documents for me

This process will never delete your WhatsApp Data. If the process not completed then go back to your old android phone and try to login or resister your old WhatsApp again. Then your all data will restored , that simple.

My sim card was in my android and i want to open whatsapp on iphone ;they asked me for a code that woud be sent in my prevous whatsapp android ,unfortantlly ;i didnt recieve it ,it did happens that i opend whatsapp in android by a mistake and i still have every thing saved .
