I love the way that this woman gets right to the point. I came here to specifically learn something and she did an excellent job of educating me. No silly music or camera tricks or trying to entertain; just the facts!

Thanks. I'm going to try this. I always find so many on my pool cover. Last summer I flipped my cover to the side and an earwig went down my shirt. I screamed so loud! Lol

After burying the plastic can in the garden, place a large rock or brick on top of it to help secure it from being removed by larger animals.

I made an earwig trap using a shallow container. I added 1/2 inch of canola oil and left it for a couple of days. The trap worked really well. Then raccoons ate the earwigs and licked the bowl clean.

Poke the holes in the sides so that rain and sprinkler water does not come flooding into the trap and ruin it.

It shouldn't be spilled if you bury the container as she did and make sure the lid is on securely. Maybe bury it further down and forgo making holes in the sides?
