Can you tell me some tipes of bread ? I'm genuinely curious becouse I know the bretzel (I don't know if it's correct😅) and the cereal bread or black bread? (I don't know I just translated how I've always called them)
@ariannalucia5983 жыл бұрын
@@AriAri-dm7pz I was in Berlin 5 years ago thanks to a sort of long trip with the school, I ate in hotels and restaurants, now I only remember binges of delicious bread while the others ate the first course enthusiastically: opaque liquid with pieces of white floating sausages (that was disgusting for me).

@@AriAri-dm7pz A Bretzel isn't really bread, it's its own thing. I recommend potato bread/Kartoffelbrot :D
@insertcreativename71923 жыл бұрын
@@AriAri-dm7pz there's so many, like every bakery has about 10-15 or something and they are different everywhere But i agree with the person above, potato bread is amazing. And in general if the outside is crispy and the inside is really fluffy, it's the best :D

Very good vids! I like the humorous side in them. When it comes to people talking loudly and for along time on the bus I dont like it either. It takes so much energy to listen to other peoples issues after a long working day and being super tired. And I dont want to be part of other peoples businesses. Additionally I think one reason why germans are very uncomfortable with noise on busses is, because they need the silence to THINK about stuff...new inventions, ideas perhaps. It might just be part of their culture.

Oh my god - at 3:59 - that was hilarious! I'm an American who's visited Berlin 3 times in the last 1.5 years, and I LOVE Berlin. I've stayed at a hostel close by Senefelderplatz, and the Americans there said things like this. By the way, the bread is so good in Germany that I started baking my own bread since this past summer - after my second visit to Germany. I'll tell you two things that I did to trigger Germans: 1. This past July, I was on the 100 bus at Humboldt University, and I wanted to go around the whole city, and the 100 bus goes around the whole city. Unfortunately, it had one more final stop at Alexanderplatz, where we were forced to get off. Like an idiot, I stayed on the bus, because in the USA, the bus driver would probably let you stay on the bus, especially if you're friendly. Next thing you know, that bus driver hissed at me like a snake! 2. Also on that visit, I visited the DDR Museum, and I bought my ticket from a man with a nice smile, and I left it purposely in my locker. When it was time to leave the museum, you needed to present your ticket. I told the guy with the nice smile who issued my ticket that I'll need to go outside the main museum to the lockers, he had this executioner's look. Once again, I felt 2 nanometers tall.

I almost choked laughing about the first one😂 Reminded me of the time in Uni when I missed my stop cause I fell asleep. The bus driver woke me up at the last stop, insisting that I have to leave the bus cause he had to drive another route, even after I told him my cellphone was dead and I had NO IDEA where tf I was. Dude just straight up sent me outside and drove away😂 (Made it to class 40mins later after running down the streets hoping to go into the right direction and trying not to have a full-blown panic attack. But: German punctuality worked, I was there in time😅)

Here in England, we bought an all day family ticket for a bus and wanted to make a circle. Just to see the full rout of our local bus. We got in the same trouble as you in Berlin when not left the bus at its end point. We had to get out and then to get in again. We were told by the driver that the buses are not for riding around as much as you wish. Aren't they? Though normally local bus drivers are pretty friendly.
