Got my Milwaukee a couple weeks ago, it's my first battery tool for my business and I'm loving it! It's so nice not having fumes in my face and having instant power on the button. I'm impressed with how it cuts through thick stuff with ease aswell. I'll be replacing my long reach hedge trimmer with the Milwaukee equivalent soon 👍🏼

Nice and congratulations. I love my Milwaukee hedge trimmers. I haven’t used my Stihl gas hedge trimmers in the few years since I got the Milwaukee battery stuff. Thanks for watching.

I love those Milwaukee hedge trimmers and the edger, polesaw, and chainsaw too. That quickloc trimmer will tire you out after awhile though. Kinda heavy and real heavy when you put the extension on lol!!

They all get heavy gas or battery if your using the additional extension pole. 😂 Thanks for watching.

Never knew you were suppose to lubricate the blades. Thanks for the information. What lubricate were you using. Probably why I broke my hedge trimmer after just one seasons of use.

Yes always lubricate your hedge trimmer blades. I was just using a Teflon based lubricant, and I’ve used WD40 in a pinch but some are not good for the plants. The best stuff to use is the red Armor hedge trimmer lubricant made by ECHO. It lubricates and cleans all the gummy sap off the blades at the same time. It comes in a clear squeeze bottle. The lubricant is red and also safe for the plants. Thanks for watching.

Great video. What variety is that hedge? Thuja? Smaraged?

So do you basically trim in November or in the spring / summer also? Do you find you have less growth if you trim in Fall?

Yes usually I like to trim at end of season. For hedges like this I usually do them just once per year. Thanks for watching.

Flat top cedar hedges are ugly, round the tops off over time. But good job. Those have been well taken care of over the years.
