This is the first donkey trim I’ve watched that didn’t make me cringe at the treatment of the animal or think there HAS to be a better process. You are very kind and informative. Much more pleasant to watch and learn.

Thank you! Very helpful! I'm helping my friend with her rescue donkeys. They are doing well in their new environment! And roam freely often on the ranch:) Doing research for the best trimming techniques* The results look great on your donkey! Much appreciation ❤

Thank you for the excellent video. I've been trimming my Clydesdale's hooves for eight years and sometimes quarter horses also. I just got this little donkey. Something of a rescue. His hooves are too long and it's going to take a few trims to get him right I think. Been watching videos because I've never trimmed a donkey. Thank you again for the excellent video!

I love the bird feeding videos and your other one a month ago after the dangerous trees over the path were cut down. Keep these videos coming!

Since several months I have been watching several trimmers from Middle East or Far East. Their donkeys have got hooves in terrible condition and I am not sure whether the responsible trimmers and owners are willing to adopt this method of trimming. They haven't even got these special tools - mostly they use one very wide knife only, and there isn't a suitable knife for the treatment of the frog - those trimmers are obviously not aware of the fact that the frog should always be trimmed as well!!! I see a great difference in handling the donkeys: This one is petted at the end and I am happy about it. --- The camera should have been closer to the hoof which should have to be shown in the m i d d l e of the picture (cameraman = greenhorn?). --- It is a pity that the people above mentioned who are in urgent need of much more skills and additional tools are not able or willing to read/understand/adopt what is going on in more advanced (= progressed) countries. Mr. Trimmer: Why didn`t we see in this video that you trimmed the frog? There is always rotten horn which has to be removed. I have been keeping Icelandic ponies for more than 55 years and a l l my farriers/trimmers had carefully treated the frog. Kind regards from Europe (Germany).
