If I can see the black washer on mine, does that mean I need to change the bearing?

Hey! I took a trip out with my 2017 polaris threw a check engine light and my engine revs up and down with my foot to the floor and stays in a low power mode. Almost like a limp mode. What should I do? Where do I start troubleshooting?

Would be nice to see a Yamaha RMAX Primary clutch picture for comparison.

How much play in that bearing is too much?
